The scent is rich and sophisticated, with a beautiful mix of dark rose, warm oud, and soft woody notes that lingers subtly on the skin. The lotion feels lightweight but still gives lasting hydration, absorbing quickly without leaving any greasy residue. It makes my skin feel smooth, moisturized, and lightly scented throughout the day.
I love Salt and Stone products and this is no exception! This scent is so lovely and has good projection. It layers well my with my perfumes. The lotion it’s self is very moisturizing without being too heavy. I also love that the pump has a lock.
This body lotion has a very good amount of fragrance matched with a lot of hydration. The bottle size is very good for the price point. The scent is floral mixed with a woody Smokey smell from the oud.
This lotion really smells incredible. It’s sexy but also grounding. I typically am not into rose or oud scents but Salt and Stone really nailed it with this one. I’m considering buying the body mist to go along with it.
I fell in love with the black rose & oud deodorant and decided to get the full body line with body wash, body lotion, body mist, and deodorant - Sadly, the scent does not last at all, even when using the full body line, which is a shame because it smells so good! The lotion applies smoothly and smells amazing. Absorbs into skin relatively quickly, but the scent does not last (which is the main reason I got this). For $49, I would say this is very much overpriced. The lotion itself is pretty decent, but even drugstore lotion has the same effect at a fraction of the cost. My main point is that the scent does not last, and that was the reason I got it, so I would probably not re-purchase, although it smells divine for just a little while.
The moisturizing part is nothing exciting, I think it can be comparable to other cheaper lotions but it does last all day without making you feel greasy so it does the job well. However I do love the scent, it’s definitely a darker more unisex scent which I get isn’t for everyone but it’s perfect for me, plus it lasts all day, I love getting a whiff of it throughout the day and smelling it on my bedsheets hehe, it also pairs well with the type of fragrances I like. Personally I pay for a good strongish fragrance that lasts all day so I will be rebuying or trying other scents but seeing other reviews I get it’s not for everyone
