This smells fantastic but leaves an oily residue behind. Oils are occlusives not moisturizers, so ideally you put on a moisturizer that sinks into skin and then layer an oil on top to retain the moisture. It’s a miss
I LOVE how this product smells, how it feels, and how my skin feels after. But unfortunately after 1 use my drains are clogged! It’s such a bummer because it’s truly an amazing product
This is my absolute favorite body scrub ever! The scent I love the most is Topless Tangerine. Such a zippy, invigorating scent. I love how this formula had really fine sugar so the sugar doesn't fall off your skin & get wasted. It has the most lovely, hydrating oils which feel so luxurious.
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This scrub has a nice, gritty texture so you feel like it is really working while scrubbing rough skin with it. It also contains a generous amount of oil to help moisturize. It smells absolutely incredible. My only complaint about the product is that it is too oily to use safely on my feet. And, that is the area where I need this product the most. After rinsing and drying, I still found that my floor was dangerously slick and I needed to put on socks ASAP. The cap on the travel size package also needs a new design. It requires tools to remove the safety tabs in order to open it which seems overly complicated and not necessary for this type of product.
I love Josie products normally. Obsessed with the body lotion. But as others said it leaves you feeling oily after and the tub was super slippery. Like I had to scrub it as to not accidentally slip & fall after showering
I had an allergic reaction to this Argan Oil + Sugar Balm Body Scrub by Josie Maran. As soon as I put it on my skin, it started getting red, irritated, and itchy immediately. It absorbed quickly and smelled nice, but unfortunately, this was not a product for me.
It was an ok product! However it was too oily which I usually don’t mind but it leaves a super thick coating on the skin. Also I know it’s a sugar scrub but the grains were really fine and It doesn’t feel like it’s exfoliating or doing much.
It leaves you feeling greasy, not moisturized, but down right greasy.
Will leave an oil on your skin after use, so if that is not your thing this product probably isn’t for you, but I love it!
I’ve been using the Josie Maran Argan Oil + Sugar Balm in Topless Tangerine and I’m honestly obsessed with how my skin feels after every use. The texture is perfect—not too harsh but still exfoliates really well. It gently removes dead skin while leaving my skin super soft, smooth, and hydrated. I love that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry like other scrubs. The scent is AMAZING—very fresh, citrusy, and sweet without being overpowering. It makes my shower feel like a little self-care moment. What I love most is how moisturizing it is. The argan oil really makes a difference, and I don’t always feel like I need lotion right after. I also love that Josie Maran is considered a clean beauty brand at Sephora, which makes me feel even better about using it on my skin. Because of that, I will definitely be buying more of their products. I’ve been using it regularly and my skin feels so much smoother and looks more glowy. Definitely a staple in my routine now!
