The Vanilla Bean scent is super sweet and smells very vanilla. This is everything I thought vanilla vibez was going to be. I wish they sold it in a body wash and scrub to match as well.

So this product starts out of the jar smelling like nothing. Once it’s on your skin it’s a super super subtle bakery vanilla scent but the moisturizing properties are amazing so take your pick.
At first, I was really disappointed in the refill. Smelled like plastic and the vanilla was barely noticeable. But, after I poured the body butter into the glass container and it had time to breathe for a day or two, the plastic smell went away completely. As it wears on your skin, there’s a nice light vanilla scent that reminds me of a waffle cone without going fully gourmand. Plays well with perfume and doesn’t overpower. Not to mention how soft to the touch my skin feels. Not greasy at all. I’m in love and really glad I bought this.
I’ve never liked any of the scents Josie Maran has come out with. They always lean too earthy and don’t really smell like what they’re supposed to, especially the Vanilla Vibes one. That was such a disappointment. When I saw they came out with a vanilla bean, I was excited but I had already seen reviews saying it smelled like nothing. I still blind bought it and at first I was disappointed. It barely had a scent. The formula is really good though so I kept using it. After a few days I started to notice the scent more. It’s not a sweet gourmand vanilla at all. It’s more of a fresh cream, milky kind of scent. If you’ve smelled Philosophy Fresh Cream, it’s like a much softer version of that. Now I actually really love it. It’s perfect for layering with perfume and just adds a subtle warmth without competing with anything else.
Just get it. If you want to smell like a vanilla cupcake, get it. It’s better than vanilla vibes. That one smelled like fresh yogurt, but this is really good. I applied it earlier this morning and it’s 4 pm and I can still smell this on myself.
it’s super hydrating but i will say im confused on why its so hyped up when it comes to its scent profile because i really notice nothing besides the most faint vanilla ice cream scent
Absolutely love this body butter. The smell is not overwhelming but you get the hint of gourmand vanilla. My one issue is when is the refill going to restock?

gorgeous. so much better than vanilla vibezz. this one actually smells like vanilla and is so nice on the skin, I feel like I smell like a cookie. i wish the scent were stronger though
