My hair tends to become extremely frizzy, particularly after heat styling, but this oil effortlessly smooths out all the frizz without weighing it down. A small amount goes a long way, so even though the bottle is compact, it lasts for an extended period. I prefer using it on damp hair before blow-drying, but it also works exceptionally well to refresh dry ends or add shine after styling. It doesn’t leave a greasy residue at all—it simply makes my hair feel healthier, softer, and appear significantly more polished. Additionally, the pleasant fragrance is a bonus. If your hair requires some extra care, this oil is definitely worth trying.

I have naturally dry frizzy hair so I've made some investments in hair care. Shu Uemura has some of great products for my hair type. This is the best overnight hair serum and I've tried dozens. Light cream to serum consistency, no residue, no greasiness, and doesn't weigh hair down and no need to wash out in the morning. Lovely gourmand scent too! Bottle purchased at Sephora dispensed a clear liquid at first pump, disappointing as this is not normal and the signature scent that I love is barely noticeable. Perhaps Sephora has old stock?

It’s such a shame that this product is so heavily perfumed. It’s unbearable! Otherwise, I love the serum, it’s texture and it works like a dream! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use it due to the strong scent. strong

I love this product! It makes your hair feel so soft and smooth. I do have curly hair and I woke up with no frizzy hair.

I’ve been using Shu Uemura Ultimate Reset Serum a few times and so far I have noticed my hair is more soft and smoother. The serum is pretty lightweight so it doesn’t weigh my hair down. The only cons I would say in my opinion, I do think the serum has a strong scent which to me can be a little overpowering. Also, I try not to wash my hair that often since it’s over-processed, and this makes my hair feel dirty more quickly. But overall I think this is a great serum and helps people like myself who have dry/damaged hair.

I have to disagree with the reviews that say this feels heavy at first. I use on dry hair & it absorbs quickly and leaves my hair soft. I need 6 pumps and use it 3x a week so I took off a star because it’s a little pricey. The smell is amazing and I look forward to continuing use of this product!

I need to use a clarifying shampoo the morning after using this because it's pretty heavy for fine hair and REALLY sticks to hair, it's hard to wash out with regular shampoo. That being said after rinsing and clarifying my hair feels amazing. I've put the ingredients into chat gpt and this is actually proven to repair your hair over time. It makes my hair so shiny, soft and hydrated, even tho my hair always feels rough and dry after clarifying. The scent is extremely strong, if you are someone who is sensitive to scents, you will not like this. I personally love the scent, and how my hair smells like it all day.
