Can’t believe it took me so long to try MAC lipstick … I didn’t know a lipstick could be this long lasting. Hardly needs to be touched up after wearing out all night long. & this colour is a perfect cool mauve!

I feel compelled to tell everyone that this is not burgundy. I don’t understand how and why everyone is saying this is burgundy. It’s magenta. Possibly fuchsia? But not burgundy. The weird part is that nobody is even representing it accurately! And before you say it looks different on different skin tones — I dabbed this on some paper and it still looks magenta. I’m including a photo of it on my lips. This is after one swipe. You can build it up and get it to look dark enough that the uninformed might want to call it burgundy… but it’s still not burgundy. If I sheer it out it looks like straight up hot pink. I hate it!
I love this shade, it’s kind of like a brick peachy colour and looks so good with minimal makeup.
Love the new formulation! Not as drying as the OG ones, but the same great MAC quality. Some of the shades did in fact change but it's not extreme. Bought Cool Teddy and it's a better color for my olive skin. Lovely classic mac scent, and luxe packaging.
The Sephora employee recommended this colour for me. I have pale skin with pink undertone. I was not quite sure but it turned out great to wear at a wedding. Used a lip liner to complete the look. Have always loved MAC lipsticks.
The silky matte formula is perfect, I don’t have to worry about it looking or feeling dry on the lips. I was looking for an every day shade for work and Whirl is exactly what I needed.
