YUM. This is the perfect vanilla. Smells so nostalgic and clean. I avoid gourmands usually because they are so heavy and sweet but this one is comforting and easy to wear everyday. Long staying power that smells amazing all day.
My favorite smelling perfume!!!! Mine smells heavily I have gone through several. I will say I smelled the tester in Sephora and it smelled awful and old. I just wish it lasted longer!!
Unique, close to the skin but noticeable, it last and lingers over 6 hrs. Subtle but complex, delicious, a bit sweet and powdery, refined, not cloying, suitable for all seasons. Fragrances are subjective and personal. Skin chemistry is not a one size fits all. This one is perfect to me from spray to dry down. No odd smells as I read on reviews. Not a beast but not boring. Vanilla, powdery, woody, breezy, warm, fresh, cozy, different. Love it. For reference: Kayali Vanilla 28 is a total no for me (cloying and headaches) I like Burberry Goddess and I wear it but i won't repurchase. Chanel, Mugler, Chloe, Replica, Joe Malone are my favorites and will try/buy again and again.
I’ve found there’s a very noticeable lactonic note. I didn’t love that part of the dry down. Otherwise a very sweet gourmand vanilla
Received this as a gift from my boyfriend and I love it! It’s a perfect subtle vanilla that I love wearing to the office. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last too long, but as I’ve had it longer it kinda macerated and lasts longer.
It took me a bit to place this scent. I liked it when I 1st smelled it in one store. Didn't like it as it seemed it was missing the vanilla scent in another store. But I decided to buy it in hopes that I'd actually like it. Well when I got the 2pc (the 1oz/0.33oz combo) I thought meh soft vanilla. But I continued to spray it. Days later it hit me as my nose and (mind) progressed with the scent..... It gives me a salty vanilla vibe with a slight beachy wood smell. And I now like it a lot! Just change your mindset. Ignore the name and imagery they gave. And imagine a soft and pleasant walk on the beach, just you, the salt from the ocean, a waft of vanilla, and a settling woody breeze. Idk. I tried lol. But I really like it now! SOFT and SUBTLE SALTY VANILLA.
on the tester strip this smelled like vanilla extract, but on me personally it smells like vanilla milk. nice, light, subtly sweet milky vanilla. but this doesn't last very long which i was surprised because i have another replica fragrance that lasts super long, but every fragrance is different so im not too surprised.
Either the batches have possibly changed, or the people leaving negative reviews had an expectations of a much richer candied sweet vanilla smell. This smells like a true vanilla extract, with a warm after scent like baked cakes and breads. Very subtle. I have loved this brand for many years, and have not been able to seem to find one I like as much. This is a new favorite. My other favorites are, By the Fireplace, Beach Walk, and Jazz Club. I also like Lazy Sunday Morning, but I wear that one less. I wear the scents with different seasons, generally. I think this one will be the first year round scent I will have. I am a fan of cooking and baking, so the fact it smells like real extract to me appealed to me and it is still clean smelling, never overpowering.
I am a huge replica line - have at least 7 other scents. I was very bummed out by this one. I did only get a sample, but the intense alcohol smell was off putting. And it took 3+ hours to fade - that smell I adored. It takes too long to get there. Do yourself a favor and sample this one first.
This Eau de Toilette smells just like an afternoon sweet and cinnamony snack, like a pastry or a latte imitating a pastry flavor. I like it a lot. The reason I took off a star is that it is very subtle. I personally like a bolder, and louder perfumes with nuclear projection. But, if you are someone who inclines towards lighter, and more subtle scents or if you work at a place where wearing perfume is frowned upon, then I think you should love this one.
