Hydrate Shampoo + Conditioner Jumbo Set for Dry, Frizzy Hair

I had originally bought the Verb Ghost shampoo and conditioner set but that was sold out when I went to repurchase, so I opted for this set instead figuring I could probably use the hyrdation anyway. It's a good shampoo, pretty thick but I find it lathers well. I really don't notice much scent to be honest which is fine for me. the conditioner seems to do the job. However, I was surprised when my husband came to me asking how much the shampoo costs since he doesn't use the conditioner and said no matter what we're buying it again. He has psoriasis which often presents on his scalp, and noticed that after about 2 weeks of using it it the flare ups were drastically reduced, like almost completely gone, better than any medicated shampoo he's used. After he mentioned that, after thinking about it I realized I hadn't had as many issues with dandruff either. So if you suffer from either of those things and have tried all the shampoos that claim to help, give the shampoo a go.

I might be in the minority but I really like it! I have hair that's on the thinner side and gets bleached regularly. I think the scent is great too.

My hair was so pitiful looking - so dry and frizzy. I’ve tried so many hair products, and none have left my hair soft and not feeling like a Brillo pad. These VERB shampoo and conditioner “Hydrate” are miracle workers - my hair looked like brittle straw and now it’s shiny and soft. Such good products.

I have thick 3c/4a textured hair that needs moisture. I tried this shampoo and it is okay. It lathers good however it feels stripping.

It's not a lathering shampoo, so I'd use a clarifying shampoo first before using this. But other than that, this works great on my hair. I have dry hair so this helps to add hydration and moisture to my strands.

This used to be my favorite shampoo + conditioner because it had such a fresh clean scent that didn't overpower everything else I was intentionally putting on my hair. This new smell is like '80s white shoulders, so bad. so so bad. This amber, oversaturated smell has been a trend in hair Care recently and it's just terrible.

I miss the old formula. This one leaves the worst film on my hair. I have thick curly hair. The old formula worked amazing. This is terrible.

Not. Good. Look, I wanted to love it. I have dry, curly wavy, frizzy, dense hair. We all know the key to this type of texture is moisture. The shampoo is so thick that even when diluted it will not spread. It leaves my scalp dry tight and itchy. The very next day: oil slick. The conditioner has a good slip when it’s on the hair, but once a rinsed out, the hair is brittle, dry, crispy. Not to mention the tub is dangerously slippery for the next three showers unless you scrub it. I can’t be spending $20 a bottle or $82 for a duo when the product is this crap! now I feel like I gotta finish it! We’re in a recession diva!

Agree with others that the new scent is overpowering and unpleasant! I'm currently shopping for a new shampoo and conditioner but hope that Verb will bring back the original scent and formula.

The shampoo and conditioner work well together, leaving my hair feeling clean and soft. Both of them above average in terms of performance, providing good moisture and shine without feeling heavy. However, the packaging could be improved—perhaps with a better dispenser or sturdier design. Overall!
