This one shocked me. It looks thick and grainy at first and I was worried it would be too harsh for my sensitive scalp. I was pleasantly surprised. It smells heavenly, juicy fruit delicious. I applied it directly along my side part, emulsified more in my hands, then worked it around my perimeter and got a rich lather. The salt dissolves and does not irritate. My scalp felt amazing and rinsed clean. It clarifies without stripping. I did not need to follow with my hydrating shampoo like I usually do. My hair felt so good. This is a winner. I would use it once a month as a clarifying shampoo since I wash every five to seven days.

True clarifying reset with lather.
This shampoo feels more clarifying than any other Adwoa Beauty shampoo I’ve used, even more than the Blue Tansy. The scrub is gentle, rinses cleanly, and what shocked me is that it actually lathers (most scalp scrubs don’t). My scalp feels completely reset after using it, without being stripped, and my coils absorb moisture so much better afterwards. This is my new go-to when I need a serious refresh.

A lovely scalp scrub
I thoroughly enjoy this shampoo. Since it has an emphasis on exfoliating the scalp, I thought it would have much lather to it. However, once combined with water, it does provide a lather similar to that of traditional shampoos. It doesn't feel too rough while I massage it onto my scalp and I do feel like my scalp is getting a good cleanse. The scent is fruity like the other melonberry products in their lineup, which I enjoy.
