To the touch, it feels light and cool. But once you get past the smell of it and apply it, it lets you down. I have mature nicely hydrated skin, and this felt sticky and not very hydrating. My face feel tight and worse off
It is a light moisturizer. I have combination skin and it worked for me, but not hydrating enough for the night routine or winter when I need extra hydration. If you have dry skin, this is not for you.
So bummed about this formula. It used to hydrating and left my skin glowing. It’s not as hydrating and it PILLS LIKE CRAZY!!! I tried with my usual serums under and also on its own and both times it pilled. Sad to say but it’s going back
I love it, hydrating & long lasting. The smell isn’t unbearable like the body butters. You can definitely see the hydration on your face.
I have been using this for years. I have eczema and this is the only thing I used around my eyes. Was excellent! Now my eyes are dry and it isn't working the same. I know they changed the jar. I didn't know they changed the formula!
I used to absolutely LOVE this face butter. it was perfectly whipped and gorgeous once applied giving such a natural moisturized and healthy glow. i would swear by this product! I was hesitant after seeing the reviews about the reformulation after the new designs came out, but I figured I'd give it a try. it has completely changed unfortunately. even after applying double the amount I put--my face was still not moisturized like it used to be with only one application of this product. you can even tell in the consistency--its thinner and not as whipped as it used to be in all those ads from Josie Maran back when it first came out. so sad now I have to look for a new product to come even close to what it used to be.
This is such a soothing cream that soaks into the skin and leaves it feeling hydrated. I have eczema and this calms my skin. I will say that if you are not exfoliating it will pill and remove the dead skin, I appreciate this
It peels horribly. I can’t return it but I would love to.
I got this moisturizer along with the oil and sunscreen. The moisturizer is very hydrating and a little goes a long way. Works well with other facial products.
I thought that this product was for all skin types. I liked that it was for mature skin too. I have oily skin and it definitely wasn't for me. It made my face extra oily and it takes a while to blend into the skin, even after emulsifying it with my fingers first.
