I'll be honest - I'm not much of a fan of the Phantoms, because all the others I've tried read to me like a chemical spill of notes mashed together. That being said, Phantom Intense comes across as surprisingly generic to my nose (cardamom, vanilla, lavender, the works...). I do smell some resemblance to the original, but it's by far the least Phantom-like to me. Regardless, the longevity and projection are both fantastic, and a little goes a long way. Whether it's worth the price is up to the individual though, and while I enjoy aromatics, I'm not sure I would get this over some of the other releases this year.

I’m a big fan of Paco Rabanne fragrances, so I was happy to receive their Phantom intense from Influenster for my review. The fragrance starts off with sweet notes of Lemon, Cardamon and Orange blossom and settles down to the base notes of Vanilla & Cedar. It’s a very sweet scent, to the point I would say it’s almost a bit artificial. Sillage is moderate, around an arms length. Longevity was around 5 hours.
