mini shape tape™ hydrating full coverage creamy concealer

I ordered the mini Shape Tape hydrating full coverage creamy concealer and I really love it. I purchased the mini after a friend suggested it to deal with oily skin. It had been a long time since I'd used any Tarte, so the mini was a safe bet. It's great! I use it in combination with Glossier's Perfecting Skin Tint and Huda Beauty's Easy Bake, and these products together last for many hours before I need to retouch anything. Underneath, I always use a serum and sun screen that I allow to dry down fully before I apply makeup and finish with a setting spray. I'm still looking for an excellent setting spray, so I don't have any suggestions so far. My skin is very fair, cool-to-neutral toned, but I have usually have a lot of redness on my face so my face never matches the rest of my body unless I glob on a lot of color correct which looks too heavy for me to bother. Unless I'm going for a full goth look, I prefer a more "barely there" make up look and this works. I like this concealer a lot, and if you have super oily skin, this gives good coverage and lasts without looking cakey. The texture is wonderful, too. I'm actually about to repurchase in the full size now, because the mini does not last long :)

I will say, the formula is more on the matte side, so if your under eyes are dry, you definitely want to prep with an eye cream first. Once you do that, it looks super smooth and flawless. Overall Its one of those concealers I reach for when I want my makeup to look extra polished and long lasting. A little goes a long way, and it really delivers that bright, snatched under eye look.

I’ve been testing the Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer and I’m genuinely impressed. The texture is creamy and hydrating, blends in seconds, and gives a smooth, natural finish without emphasizing dryness or texture. It brightens the under-eye area beautifully and still provides great coverage for redness and spots. It wears well for hours, doesn’t look cakey, and I noticed much less creasing compared to many other concealers I’ve tried. Super comfortable for everyday makeup and a new staple in my routine!

This one is perfect for me. It keeps my undereyes creaseless and hydrated. The undereye area doesn’t look or feel chalky which I love. This is ok for a heavy coverage concealer but you will need a lot of prep work before to make sure it sits well and does not crease. I prefer using this to clean up my eyebrows but would avoid using this on parts of my face that I know are prone to creasing.

My holy grail concealer. A tiny amount goes a long way, blends flawlessly, and it doesn't dry out. Fantastic for 40+ skin, and outperformed the Dior I was using before this. The ultra creamy line has a wide selection of colours and you'll likely find several that work. I use both the 20S and the 22N depending on how tan I am, or what kind of look I'm going for. They offer true neutral colours, which is rare to find in today's sea of too-yellow or too-pink or too-orange bases. I prefer ordering 3-4 minis at a time and keeping a stash of them, instead of the larger bottle - the deerfoot applicator on the big bottle applies far too much at once, and also tends to leak. The little bottles have never leaked for me, and are very portable. When one dries out after a few months, I open the next. I'll buy this forumlation for as long as Tarte makes it.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer gives medium coverage. The shade 57G Rich Golden is darker than I had imagined. The texture is really thick and feels heavy against my skin. I wish they had better packing to prevent leaks from the product.

The concealer gave medium coverage & I was able to use it as a base instead of foundation, because I was going for a concealer only look. It has a bit of a scent but overall I didn’t find it over bearing. I liked the finished look and I’ll try their lighter shades next time. (I got my skin tone shade)
