I love this lotion but unfortunately not this scent. I purchased the Hinoki scent specifically for that note. The magnolia overpowers any hint of hinoki oil. I returned for another scent. If you like Magnolia,this is for you!
I’m sure I’m not the first or last person who’s had issues with this product’s packaging. The body lotion itself is honestly really good and has worked well for me. But as you can see, to actually use all of it, you basically have to cut the bottle open and scoop out what’s left into another container. Yeah, the pump is super convenient when the bottle’s full, but what’s the point if you can’t get the rest out once it’s running low? I wish it came in a jar instead that would’ve made things so much easier. **Hey Nécessaire, love the product, but please make a jar version for folks like me who have a hard time with the packaging!**
This is a great product. After using for a week, I noticed the difference in my skin. I also prefer a light scent for body lotions vs. unscented and this is a great option for some scent without overwhelming. The moisturizing benefits of this body lotion without being greasy or overly heavy is the best feature. with all that said, this is honestly too expensive. I purchased with the 20% off because I really wanted to try it, but can't see myself spending this much consistently for body lotion.
I have tried every lotion on the market-high end to low end. This is hands down the best one ever. The texture is light and the smell is subtle but beautiful. You smell like luxury honey!! Incredibly hydrating. Worth every penny.
This is nice, moisturizing lotion with a pleasant, non-greasy feel, which is why I have given it two stars and not one star. However, the smell is so strong that my wife asked me to take a shower and wash it off because she could not stand to be in the same room with me after I put it on. The power of the smell is so insanely strong that I don't think any degree of review-writing hyperbole could accurately convey the experience. I have encountered Axe body spray products with greater subtlety. I cannot recommend it unless you live alone, have no sense of smell, and never leave the house.
i absolutely love this body lotion. the eucalyptus scent is clean, fresh, and calming without being overpowering. it honestly makes my whole bathroom feel like a spa. the formula is lightweight but still really hydrating, so my skin feels soft and smooth without any greasy feeling. a little goes a long way, and the bottle lasts forever which makes it totally worth it. i find myself reaching for it every day just for the scent alone. definitely a staple in my routine now.
my mom loves it. please discontinue so i dont have to spend this much on a lotion for her birthday every year
read reviews saying this smelled like pine-sol and figured i wouldnt mind that much if it did. unfortunately, the smell is really sour, funky and rancid, like something thats been left out in the sun. genuinely unbearable. insult to injury is below-average performance. for the price i expected quality, meanwhile it can’t hold up against vaseline cocoa-radiant, which is $20 for a 3-pack of 20oz bottles. this is OVER 100x THE PRICE. it’s less moisturizing and doesn’t absorb as well. i’m truly in awe.
The scent is super strong, and it doesn't smell like Hinoki at all. It was not a great match for me, so I will go back to the eucalyptus scent.
I thought I was buying the fragrance free version, but this is heavily scented to the point it makes me feel sick. The smell doesn't dissipate when the lotion dries. It does moisturize, but pay attention if you are sensitive to scents. I'm so bummed out.
