I liked the idea of the pressed powder less messy than the original loose powder formula, and the product applies well. However, I found that the oil control is majorly lacking, as I now look greasy after only an hour or so. The shade also seems darker than their loose powder in the similar lighter shade.
i like this foundation a lot. i switched to it from a sephora-branded powder foundation. i hit pan on my first one, and just restocked. it's really fast/easy to apply (i personally use a sephora "pro powder brush #50" which was recommended to me by a store associate) and looks decent, i think. i put on liquid concealer underneath the foundation, and over the foundation i only use powder products. i'm not sure i would call this foundation "high coverage" by any means (my moles don't go anywhere, haha) but it definitely evens my skintone and covers any redness, which are my priorities!
I used to use bare minerals in high school, so I was super excited to see that there was a pressed powder. Super lightweight feeling on your skin, has light coverage but can build to medium coverage, and it doesn’t break me out. Best part? NO TALC!!
Follow the directions for wetting the sponge if you are going for full coverage and it works well. Feels like skin & wears well. I use this on hot days because I don’t like the way liquid foundation can make my skin feel.
This is the only foundation that stays in place for my 10. 1/2 hour work shift. Looks very natural and never cakey. Perfect for maturing skin. I absolutely love it.
It was okay. The coverage isn't the best and the pressed powder broke up pretty quickly, making it messy.

Bare minerals : Barepro 24 hour skin perfecting matte powder foundation Shade medium 30 warm The company must have changed the shade values recently. My previous purchase of this same product was the shade light 25 warm and I wanted something a little darker for the summer. I looked through all the shade values and photos online and I ordered medium 30 warm. When the product was delivered it was so much lighter than the one I previously purchased. I let my friend try it because she has fair skin and it worked perfectly for her. She was in awe of the way it blended with her tone and loved that it was gentle on her sensitive skin. I ended up giving it to her instead of returning the product. In the future I will go in person to Sephora to buy this product instead of trusting the misleading pictures of the product online. I’ve used bare minerals for years now and I can swear that it’s a quality product that I will purchase over and over again as long as it’s the correct shade
Shade purchased--Light 20 Cool I purchased this as an alternative to my usual drug store brand cream-based foundation. My skin can get shiny throughout the day, but I do have some dry patches as well. I haven't used a powder foundation in years. Well, I have been wearing it daily since I got it! It is so light on my skin, but provides medium coverage, and evens out my skin tone (I do have slight redness in some areas). It looks natural, and while it is matte, it is not at all chalky or dry. I have only ever applied it dry. I have definitely found my new favorite foundation!
It’s a good powder, it gives you coverage and it has not broken me out. The coverage does last the whole day, but the mattifying effect does not, which I don’t really mind.
