C.E.O. Vitamin C Brighten + Tighten Body Butter

Do not buy this! It made my clothes and towels stink- anything that touches this lotion will stink and you will not be able to get the scent out. My husband and my parents (i had two things of this lotion) got me this lotion for my stretch marks when i was pregnant. They said they were both recommended this lotion from Sephora sales associates when they went in the store. The lotion itself is not that moisturizing. I would recommend trying a different lotion or even an oil.

Not crazy about this. It was hard to rub into my body - it tended to clump. Didn't see any difference after 1 jar and applying it every day.

I love many of Sunday Riley's products. I bought this body butter hoping it would work as well on my skin as the other products do. Unfortunately, this cream simply won't sink into my skin. It takes hours before it feels like it has at all and even then the results aren't great. To be fair, I have an unusual genetic dry skin condition called ichthyosis and I have a problem with a lot of cream products sinking in and gel formulas usually works better. For most people, this might be a wonderful body butter but it just isn't for me.

I picked up this body cream since my usual one was sold out. I chose it for the shea butter, hoping it would help with my dry skin. While it did leave my skin feeling hydrated, the scent is overwhelming me. it's just too strong! Might need to find a new favorite."

I'm reading all the positive reviews and I'm wondering if I got a bad batch. The scent was NOT pleasant. It almost smells like mold. It's a bummer because I wanted to like it, but for that price, I want something that smells nice.

Unfortunately this product has a horrible rancid smell. The product is very thick and don’t absorb very well.

Disclaimer: [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] - This product was okay, I decided since it has skin tightening claims that it may be best to use it for a long duration. With this in mind I used this product for several months and did not really see any results. However, this product is super hydrating with a citrus smell that is pleasant. Overall, this product felt nice on the skin and did not irritate my sensitive skin.

Totally dislike the smell of this but I keep it around because it works. Perhaps it’s my love of this brand? Either way, I do so use it when I have super dry skin. It’s just not my daily lotion.
