Big Effing Clip® Hair Claw in Toasted

I am obsessed my favorite go to clip! Loved it so much I got my mom and sister matching ones :))

I do like that it’s strong. I just really hate the fact that they call it BIG… when it doesn’t even hold up all my hair. I do have thick hair but other bigger clips can hold up my hair.

Easily turned into my favorite clip, but broke after a few months. Expected this to last a little longer for the price.

Horrible hair claw, not worth the price at all. Couldn’t even hold my hair properly, I don’t think is meant for thick hair.

Had to return because it would dig into the back of my head due to the bend in the claws of the clip. For the price, this is disappointing!

Not sure why this is called the “big effing clip” because it’s genuinely not that big. Lol. I prefer the size of the Kitsch ones. That being said, it is great quality. Not sure it’s worth almost $40 though.

How can they be allowed to call this “big effing clip” when it’s literally the smallest hair clip I’ve ever purchased 😭 Confused on these reviews I see the potential with the grip but it’s just so small it doesn’t fit my hair

You’re gonna look at this and say, “this isn’t big at all. There’s nothing special about this”. Then you’ll put it in your hair and it will feel more secure than a straight jacket and you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it!

I was already skeptical about this clip because for something named "big effing clip" its listed dimensions were smaller than claw clips I normally wear, BUT it gets such great reviews and claims to "hold a full head of hair" so I decided to give it a go and hoped to be pleasantly surprised. For reference I have long, fine, straight hair with I'd say medium density. I wear claw clips to get all my hair up and out of the way and have only found 1 brand so far that will legit hold it all up and spoiler alert, Emi Jay isn't one of them. As seen in the photo, it's big enough to just grasp my hair twist, but not secure it to my head. Begrudgingly giving it 2 stars because it does have a very strong hinge and would probably work for a "full head of [short] hair". Mainly upset at false advertising bc claims to hold all hair of every length and type is something those of us with actual hard-to-hold hair look for, and this just wasn't it.

My favorite style of hair clip ever is the big effing clip! And the color toasted is the perfect neutral to go with anything and everything! Looking forward to pairing it with my other Emi Jay clips this fall to match all the cute outfits
