Not what I was expecting…it smells very peppery and quickly turns to a gross plastic-y smell on my skin. I wish I smelled more of the coconut and beachy notes.
I really really love this scent and it makes me happy - I love the beach and am always chasing the feeling of being near water. This one is very coconut forward and dries down kind of peppery and a little floral. I also love Bobbi brown beach but that’s definitely a different smell and vibe but has its place in my heart when I’m feeling nostalgic. I took away a star because Beach Skin really has zero longevity, like other reviewers note. I wish they’d make an eau de parfum! Regardless it’ll be in my regular rotation in the summer.
I blind ordered this based on the notes, then got worried after seeing mixed reviews. After trying it, I can honestly say that I love it. It is not your typical beach body spray, which is why I ordered it. The fragrance notes are sophisticated, and well-balanced. You will not get blasted with coconut, sunscreen, saltwater, tropical fruits or tropical flowers with this one, but they are all there, in a light, understated, well-blended way, with a light sandalwood and white musk for grounding. This is not a vanilla-forward, gourmand fragrance either. Vanilla is there, but it’s very airy, light and perfect. To me, this is a unique skin-complementing fragrance for Summer and the beach. It’s quietly sultry and intriguing, but not heavy or cloying. It manages to be somewhat airy, as if you’re smelling all of the lovely notes in a Summer breeze. It’s probably the most sophisticated beachy body spray I’ve smelled. I love it. I know I’ll be purchasing the body oil soon, and a larger bottle when I use up this one.
The best summer mist out there. Its smells like old school sunscreen and saltwater all mixed together. Reminds me of my youth at the beach. So good!
So good! It is a good combo of coconut and background notes of florals and juicy fruits. I smelled this in Sephora and knew I had to have it. It lasts me from 5 am to 9 pm after the gym I’ve gotten so many compliments compliments
This scent is my absolute favourite. Love it and get many compliments. Vanilla, coconut, warm, beaches spicy, it’s perfect. Would love an actual perfume & lotion of this for layering! Also love it mixed with vanilla skin. Layi
