Daily Defense Face Fluid SPF 50 Sunscreen

Love this sunscreen. I have mild hormonal acne/combination skin, and a lot of facial sunscreens tend to clog my pores. This one does not. I tried MANY facial sunscreens before finally finding this one. It works great under makeup for me too (for context, I mix it with some facial oil, and mainly wear concealer). Please never discontinue this product!!

I’m honestly not loving it. I got it because it was in 50% discount and has great reviews but after trying it for a bit it cause me pilling almost all the time because a lot of my skincare products doesn’t match with it. I gotta use only when I have clean skin.

I like the texture, but the smell is unpleasant. I think it could definitely be improved.

This sunscreen applies flawlessly and leaves no white cast! It blends in pretty easily for a sunscreen and works with darker skin tones. Highly recommend trying this out if you’re looking for a new sunscreen this summer!

The packaging is absolutely adorable but it still feels like American sunscreen, thick and heavy. I think it’s okay but for the price point i would rather get something else. Nothing compares to the kbeauty sunscreens. Plus the price point is pretty high..

I absolutely love this SPF 50. It has no white cast, and it’s not greasy. It soothes my redness in my cheeks and reduces the appearance of redness. It has Niacinamide to help brighten and even your skin tone. Also, it is hydrating and helps protect your skin. It leaves a beautiful glow on my skin. I absolutely love it!

I did quite a bit of research before purchasing this sunscreen. I have been using this since January and I absolutely love it. It’s lightweight, not greasy, it acts as a great primer for my makeup. (Granted I do not wear foundation so I can’t speak to the pulling comment I saw someone else say) but otherwise this is a staple in my routine. It is one of my favorite products. Recommended it to my girlfriends already!!

Used on our vacation to Hawaii! Oh my gosh I loved it! Great coverage with milky finish kept my skin glowing and protected!

I love the non-greasy formula! It does amazing under makeup and it has no smell. I did hike up a 13000 ft mountain (it took exactly 3 hrs) and it didn't quite beat the powerful UVs. But my burns are barely noticeable and in areas I probably applied less product. But, I did apply a lot of it prior to hiking. So I gather if you want full effects, you may need to wear more of this than other sunscreens (i.e. 100 SPF La Roche Posay and Neutrogena ultrasheer). But Island of Paradise faired pretty dang well. And it never runs into my eyes unlike the other sunscreens I probably wouldn't wear this if you're going to be in the high country on a hot sunny day.

This sunscreen felt so nice and lightweight when I tested it in the store and I was sorely mistaken when I actually used it the next day. It does feel lightweight on the skin but stays a little greasy even after 30 minutes of only being inside. I noticed a sting when I applied and got a little close to my eye but it wasn’t the worst, but it persisted. And I couldn’t rub my eye without fear of getting more in my eye. It has been almost 2 hours since I applied and I have been outside, then washed my face twice and it STILL burns. I might as well be cutting onions that’s how bad it feels. This is an immediate return. No other sunscreen, despite it being for face or full body, has ever made me feel this.
