Devotion For Men Parfum with Coffee & Amber Woods

It’s a good evening perfume! Scent is long lasting. Husband loves it

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] There’s a slight coffee note in the initial spritz, but to my nose that disappears fairly fast and gives way to the woods and lavender. There’s something in here that makes this scent a little sharp and cloying to my nose, possibly the citrus. On my skin, this projects fairly well for a bit before I start to go a little nose blind to it, but it settles close and lasts a while. I would wear this on a date night during fall and winter. Personally, I wouldn’t wear this to the office or causally while running errands. It definitely reads more as a special occasion scent to me. Interestingly enough, as I’ve been writing this review, im able to pick up in the coffee note again in the dry down. I think the way Devotion PHF settles on my skin works a lot more for me than my reaction to the initial spray. While I wouldn’t purchase a bottle of this due to how cloying the initial spray is for me, I can see this being a great masculine scent for someone who likes a woody and aromatic cologne. I wouldn’t recommend a blind buy though, definitely one to sample before you purchase.

Devotion is a really interesting cologne as it incorporates a coffee not. Something you don’t see too often in fragrances. The coffee note is pleasant and the lemon mixes well with the other notes. However, on my skin, this cologne did not last very long. Maybe about 2-4 hours then it became a skin scent. Overall it is a decent cologne but I would definitely recommend sampling first.

I bought it online, just by checking the notes and reading reviews. But, when it arrived I returned this perfume the next day, it smells exactly like AXE deodorant.

Got it for my bro cuz the bottle is dope.I did end up smelling it and as a female it kinda smells like any other male scent .Spicy and citrusy.I was expecting more soft with the lavender and coffee but I only got the amber woods notes in the perfume.The bottle is cool tho

I think it would be good for winter days, as the smell is pretty rich. Not my favorite, but I think it’s good value

It smells fine but its similar to other generic designer fragrances. I cant smell much coffee, its mostly a very woody citrus cologne and doesn’t stand out. I mostly smell just the guaiac wood, lemon and some sweetness from the vanilla. It reminds me of resin/myrrh.
