I’ve been using this foundation for almost 5 years and love it. I like a light foundation to even out my skin tone. I can’t stand anything that feels heavy or cakey or too powdery. This is lightweight and stays on all day. This likely isn’t right for anyone seeking full coverage . It will balance out and even your tone though and leave a natural finish.

I tried it out when it was around 18 bucks near black friday. I bought light, and it is way too yellow for me. It did provide coverage after I punched it into my face for about 6 mins. If you have textured skin like me this will not look good on you. Large pores, acne, scars, little bumps. You see it all. Could be user error, like the incorrect shade but its not an easy makeup if you need a
I really wanted to like this product. I am Asian, 47, tan easily, have some dark spots/sun spots, and have combination skin that requires masks about every 4-5 days. My go-to foundations tend to be full coverage liquids, but I wanted some lighter coverage for a more natural finish. I found that the color match was fine. My summer color is “sand” in this brand and others. But the coverage was lighter than any other powder foundation I have ever tried despite my attempts at a heavier application. It was so poor on my skin type that rather than evening any tone, it just added emphasis to any unwanted texture on my skin. Through another shop, I also tried the fuller coverage Laura Geller foundation, and it was also terribly disappointing. Based on the product textures, I think this might be better for very thin, leathery skin that doesn’t have any flaky spots or tiny hairs. In the same Sephora order, I tried a competitor brand’s powder foundation that was awesome, so I think it’s the Laura Geller brand that probably isn’t right for me.
This product had no pigment and was very chalky. It also settled in fine lines. To me, this was basically a setting powder. I would not recommend.
So excited to see this back at Sephora! This is a wonderful powder with just the right amount of luminosity. It’s great for setting makeup or wearing alone; if you have texture this is for you!
