This was a great retinol option, especially for beginners! It did not make my skin more sensitive which was awesome. I did notice less breakouts as well.
I’m on my second bottle of this stuff! It’s a perfect introduction to retinol! It is gentle enough for everyday use in my experience and makes the overall texture of my skin so soft. I’m only 27 with nothing too intense in regards to wrinkles but just wanted a product to get a head start with. No weird smell either. teIt’s cheap enough that you don’t have to use it sparingly and can just lather it up and go down on your neck as well.
This starter retinol serum from The Inkey List is wonderful because it is gentle on my skin with no irritation or redness.. I only use a small pea-sized amount on my face and neck a few nights per week. The formula feels very light and hydrating, leaving my skin feeling silky soft and smooth. I’ve been using it the past few weeks and have seen my fine lines and wrinkles appear more diminished. My skin texture is also more even and refined. I highly recommend this serum for anyone, especially those prone to sensitive skin or are just starting out with retinol.
This is one of the best starter retinol products out there as I had no irritation and it was so easy to use. The packaging is cute and easy to travel with and I love the creamy consistency as it is much more easy to handle than the liquid retinol. My skin feels smoother and it does not feel like I’m layering products on my skin AT ALL because it is so lightweight!

I have used this product in my evening routine every couple of days. I really like the creamy yet not too thick texture, it creates a thin breathable layer on the skin. It does not irritate my skin, which I kind of was afraid it will, but it is very gentle. My skin feels radiant, healthy and hydrated after use. The packaging is easy to travel with and cute. I like it. Props for the clean formula and affordable price!
I used this product in the PM 2-3 nights a week to start and it was super gentle! Didn't notice any irritation. I don't usually use retinol but wanted to start one and this is such a great product for beginners. As I build a tolerance to this I'll have to start using it every other night.
This product did not help me with anything. It also did not hurt which I guess is a positive. Since I’ve never used retinol, I started off slow slowly, like it says in the directions. Followed that with the same brand moisturizer for my face.. after weeks of consistent use with this and another product of the same brand, nothing was different good or bad. Been using for about a month and have seen subtle improvement with less acne and skin looking overall more radiant. It feels nice and hydrating on skin and doesn’t feel dry or tight. Please restock I need to reorder!
Tried The INKEY List retinol and I really like how gentle it feels on the skin. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel heavy at all. I noticed my skin getting smoother and a bit clearer after a few weeks. There was slight dryness in the beginning, but nothing too harsh. Overall, a really nice beginner-friendly retinol!
