the majority of my makeup products are patrick ta. the shades are always spot on and i love how the products go for glow. the concealer was drying though… didn’t crease but just dried everywhere and didn’t provide coverage. i think i was expecting something like Make Beauty’s concealer … glowy and hydrating but with more pigment/coverage … this wasn’t that though.
Note: I received as a part of an educational promotion. I’ve tested the Patrick Ta Major Skin Blur concealer for a few months now. The concealer is light to medium coverage and was actually a very good shade match. A lot of face products end up very warm on my skin tone, but this seemed like a good match for my neutral skin tone with some rosy undertones. I don’t reach for full coverage products so I was happy with the light to medium coverage. A big con includes cracking or creasing a few hours after applying, so it’s not very hydrating on its own, and this was with my usual moisturizer, which does a good job keeping my skin moisturized. I also didn’t love the smell, and it smelled weirdly stale, and I’m not sure if it was just a one-off. It’s a decent product, and because of the good shade match, I often use it with my usual Armani luminous silk concealer. However, I likely won’t repurchase it. Sephora doesn’t do half stars, but I would rate it as a 3.5/5.
I'll start with the positive. This product blends great. Has great coverage and is hydrating. But the smell is horrible. Reminds me syrup

When I first got the product, it was great! It would blend in seamlessly and gave the blurring effect. However, 2 months later, it started to smell bad and now it’s unbearable. It clings onto random patches and pills now
I put on two full swipes in two layers. Even with powder it doesn’t last more than two hours. I have tried brushes, fingers, and sponges. Powder and minimal to high coverage, it doesn’t ever last more than two hours even with incredible long lasting fixing or setting spray. With three swipes today it was completely gone within 45 minute. than 2-3 hours even with
I like it a lot, the way it melts into my skin is unbeatable. The smell is so strong and pungent. It doesn’t fade throughout the day, you are going to smell it all day. I’m really sensitive to scents, and the scent alone is going to force me into returning this product. Such a shame because everything else about it is amazing!

I’m all about a light-medium coverage concealer so that you can still see my skin through, but this was so challenging to blend evenly, showed off dryness that I didn’t have? And I found myself having to dip in to get more product.
