Santal & Vetiver Body Oil

I was really excited to try this as I feel like I have become some sort of body oil connoisseur, and I like it but his not outperformed my current two favorites. The locctaine almond oil is lighter, and has better absorbing and a softer scent. My no. 1 is from a brand called Encompass Farms and their body oil is top tier!! Anyway, just wanted to share my opinion. The Santa oil is heavier, and sits on top of my skin and kind of leaves a fail feeling. I will probably start cocktailing it with my lotion.

Do not like the smell. Body chemistry does not work with it Have to test the product first

I was excited when I purchased this body oil. Lets start with the price. It’s very pricey but you do get a lot of product. My main issue is the scent is barely there. I was expecting the scent to be stronger and to last longer. I suggest you try this on your skin FIRST before purchasing. 3/5.

I lalalove the deodorant version of this scent, I also own the body mist, shower gel and body lotion. So, I was very excited to finally see the brand launch this body oil. I have been using it for a few days now. The texture is very nice, its nourishing while still feeling light and absorbing on the skin. It isn't a dry oil per se, so keep that in mind. I do enjoy the feeling on my skin. Not too greasy unlike other brands I've used. The glass packaging is well designed. I do 2 pumps for each leg. 1 pump per arm. 2 for my torso. My only quirk is the longevity of scent. Since I love the fragrance, I was expecting the scent to linger more than 5mins after application. It doesn't though. It's basically just a nice body oil with a HINT of their Santal Vetiver fragrance. Will I keep it or not? I will keep this product because I do enjoy the texture and feel of my skin after use. Plus, it's really hard to find a body oil that doesn't have that gourmand/sickly sweet coconut/shea butter smell. I would still recommend this but I give it a 3.5 rating.

I’ve been using the Salt & Stone Santal & Vetiver Body Oil for a few weeks and really love it. The scent is warm and subtle, not overpowering, and it makes my skin feel soft and nourished without being greasy. It absorbs quickly and leaves a healthy glow. Perfect for everyday use.

I instantly fell in love with this body oil. It absorbs so well without stripping my skin or making it feel too greasy I love pairing it with the body wash, smells heavily. It gives my skin the perfect amount of glow.

It smells exactly like santal if you’re not a santal person I will say you’re not going to like this. Luckily I do like it, it reminds me of a spa! I wish I realized to use this on damp skin I just think when my skin is dry it feels a bit stickier versus damp skin would probably absorb easier. I do like the lather though it’s not overly slippery.

I have been absolutely loving this new body oil by Salt and Stone. It smells so beautiful a d it leaves my skin hydrated and soft without feeling heavy on my skin. I also love the glass bottle, very luxurious! I definitely recommend trying it out!

I love this body oil. I went to the dermatologist yesterday and she said “your skin is so hydrated, what do you use” I told her I after I shower I don’t dry off and use Salt and Stone body oil. Get you some and it smells amazing.

I have started using this after my showers. Similar to baby oil when applying. Absorbs into the skin nicely leaving it nice and glowing. The scent is a bit woodsy (mature scent). It makes me feel like I am using 5 star hotel/spa products daily. Very happy with it.
