I received a sample. It feels very good and the smell is great. But nothing can justify the price. Comparable body butters are sold at half the price of this one. I would buy it if it was more affordable but not at this price.
I love the idea of the product but it doesn’t live up to expectations. The scent is gone after 1 hour of wear and is very light. I think for this price, there should be way more product with a way longer lasting scent. I haven’t even had it a month and I’m almost half way through it and I’ve been using it less than sparingly
I wish I'd received this for free, but no, I paid $48... for a tub of thick lotion. And I hate how much I love it. I LOVE amika's signature scent so much. My hair already smells like it all the time, and it doesn't clash with any of my perfumes. I don't understand it, but it just works with everything. A little goes a long way, so this should last a while. It's a little greasy, but that's to be expected with body butter. I'm taking off one star because I just don't like having to put my hands in tubs of beauty products. Yeah, I get that you can scrape out every last bit, but you can do that with a tube too if you're motivated. I know it's common for body butters to be in a tub, but with a big enough hole in the cap, they can easily be squeezed out of a tube. On the plus side, it probably makes me use less of it since I only want to stick my hands in it right after I've washed them or showered.
Smells great and is soft on the skin but the price is outrageous. Most of the good reviews I’ve seen on here received a free product to test so they did not have to pay the absurd $48 for this product. There are drugstore body creams with the exact same result and quality.
Smells amazing just like the Amika coveted scent for their hair products. Fresh yet sexy. Leaves skin hydrated but not overly thick. I prefer thicker body butters but this does the job nicely. My husband can't keep his hands off of me. It's a whole vibe.
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Love the size of the product. The packaging is super cute. The scent is very subtle and soft. The whipped body butter is soft and easy to apply no oily after effect. Glides on soft and a little goes a long ways.
The texture is amazing, luxurious, thick and feels expensive but it smells like citronella to me.
Received this as a sample: it was very rich/thick and made my skin super soft! Smells exactly like Amika’s hair products, which is a very nice, slightly musky floral scent.
Smell sooo good, but it only lingers for a few minutes and that’s all. Too bad
Smells soooo goood but for this price point I wish the smell lingered longer and that it was a bit more moisturizing. It does feel great on the skin though and absorbs well.
