Although the tan is great, the bottle’s spray component completely quit working with more than half of the product still in. Sephora said they can’t help me. Very disappointed with the company and how they’re refusing to do anything.
First off I do like the color. However, I would not use again or recommend. If you use it, spray it outside and away from anything as it will get on everything. It is very messy and the bottle drips. Also use a mask so you do not inhale the product. I used in my bathroom and my sinuses /chest still hurt from inhaling it. I use self tanners all the time and this one is no different, sleep on an old sheet because it does stain!
The bottle leaks and this causes an uneven tan and you waste a lot of the product. The actual color is lovely which is why I gave it two stars but the spray bottle needs work
This is the worst tanning spray I have ever used . When you spray drips brown liquid all over your bathroom, in the lid , down the bottle . Wish I would have tried it earlier so I could return it!
Just opened from the package and on my first spray it leaked dark tanning splotches all over the floor and on my skin leaving dark splotches all over my body. Took me forever to try to get it off. What a disaster!
love the tan but this product is awful to use. leaked and dripped all over my bathroom.
I feel like my tan looked very blotchy, and looks very orange. I really wanted to like this but I hate it. I’ll stick with the foam self tanners.
Probably one of my favorite tanning mists. I typically go for the foam ones but this worked really well. Wasn’t super streaky or anything. A good deep tan and not super orange.
Dolce Glow was clearly made by someone who loves a true tanned glow with great color payoff. The color was dark, even after rinsing the guide off but not orange at all. It's more of an olive undertone which I love because it looks like a real tan. The smell is very light, almost fruity, without the normal "tan smell," plus it dried quickly and was not sticky while developing. As someone who self tans frequently, I was excited by this new spray bottle technology but it definitely has a learning curve. It took me spraying my whole body once to really learn how to perfect the distance, spray length, positioning, etc. My first tan was really not good but after deeply exfoliating (more than I did the prior to the first use) and hydrating I tried again and my second time using the tan turned out beautifully! *Product received this as a part of an educational promotion
I liked the overall effect I got from this but there's definitely a learning curve as someone who's new to self tanner. I used just my hands to apply and I didn't feel like it applied very evenly. I used an old and very soft washcloth and got a relatively even layer but it would've been easier to say you needed to use a tanning mitt rather than saying it's optional. Also as someone new to tanning It gave clear instructions for length of time to use but it wasn’t clear to me, how dry skin needed to be before applying. I left it on overnight and it gave a nice glow without being too dark. I felt like it would have needed to be left on much longer than recommended time.
