Lusso Self-Tanning Mousse in Medium to Dark

This is the first self tanner in awhile that I truly feel is doing something innovative. For reference over the years I’ve used: St Tropez, Loving Tan, Coco & Eve, Lux Ulfiltered, Isle of Paradise +more. What I love most about this tanner is the lack of a strong smell and lack of a sticky feeling. I’m super pale and the color looks very natural. I use a thick tanning mitt from isle of paradise to apply, following all the self tanner protocols- lotion on the feet, hands, and elbows. I also use a brush to blend around these areas. As some have mentioned this does dry fast (a benefit) so the first use there was a slight learning curve. I apply a few pumps direct to the mitt and swirl around a lot. I have not had issues with patchiness or unevenness. My note is that the medium to dark looks a lot darker when it goes on but washes off lighter. I don’t mind this because it looks natural on me but something to note. What hat

Im so glad they sell this at Sephora now. I tried this self tanner last year when i was testing a bunch of them for a bridesmaids dress i was going to wear. I am very very fair but live in Florida so slather with SPF all the time. This is the most natural looking, the easiest to apply, and longest lasting. I use a mit and a back applicator. It looks splotchy when it dries but once you shower it looks amazing! Ive never had a problem with it and I've used all the self tanners.

So far this has been my favorite self tanner. Easy to use and delivers a great result.

I’ve tried a lot of self tanners. I’m exceedingly pale but went to college in the Deep South, so I was constantly trying to find the best self tanning product. In terms of color, this is hands down the best. It leaves me with the most natural looking tan. Like I just stepped off the beach. natural

I am very fair olive undertone/warm overtone, normally tanners, bronzers, everything goes orange on me and I have to be super careful. I love that this is 🫒 toned! It sets fast and looks kinda blotchy and crazy going on, but you are supposed to wash it off! So if you follow the instructions it turns out natural and beautiful imo. Will repurchase!

**Product was gifted for promotional purposes** I’m not very experienced with self tanners, but this is definitely the best one I have tried so far. Usually tanning mousse tends to show up orange on me since I am so pale, even if it claims not to. So for that I really like it. Plus it’s overall a good product. It was easy to apply and dried fairly quick. I had no issue working it across my body. It did not leave streaks, and it faded nicely and evenly. Another huge plus for me was that the smell was not intense and was very tolerable. I would recommend this product.

I was honestly a little nervous this was going to turn me way too dark… but I followed the timing instructions and it was dare I say… perfect?! lol For real though, I really love this tanner. It gave me such a nice, soft glow without looking overdone or orange at all. And the biggest win… no nasty spray tan smell (my husband is very grateful 😂). It went on evenly, developed beautifully, and just made me look like I actually get outside instead of living in Minnesota winter. So happy with this one! Definitely a new go-to for me.
