2-Hour Express Self-Tanning Mousse in Ultra Dark

My favorite tanner to date. If you like loving tan you’ll love this.

I love the original formula, but this one is sooo streaky and doesn’t wear well at all. I had high hopes. It also WILL transfer to alll white or lighter clothing no matter how many days it’s been since you’ve showered it off

NOT INCENTIVIZED (Stating that due to the reviews at the top stating all of the good reviews must be incentivized) I've been an avid self-tanner for well over a decade. I've legitimately tried them all and tried them in various ways. Before discovering Dolce Glow (last year) my go-to's were Loving Tan Platinum and Norvelle Venetian (I'd but the professional spray tan solution and put in a foaming dispenser). No other brand was ever able to give my ridiculously fair skin a natural looking tan. Until Dolce. What sets this apart from the others for me is a few things: 1) The gradual fade. It doesn't leave large, blotchy areas when it fades and the others always have on me. 2) The dry down. It dries fast and doesn't transfer while marinating in it. Even at night. If it's a hot day and I'll be wearing this, I use their tan setting powder on areas prone to sweat to lock it in. Zero issues. 3) The color. It's perfection. I use the ultra dark in the summer/early fall months and the medium the rest of the year. Like with all self-tanners, PREP is the most important part of the application. If you aren't exfoliating/shaving/stripping the skin completely before applying - you're going to get streaks. Same as you would going for a spray tan. Higher end self-tanner formulations don't cause streaks, poor PREP and application does.Because I know this, I've probably tried 20 brands of self tanner and only had one streak on me. Ever. Give this a try, you won't be disappointed. And if you are, Sephora has an amazing return policy.

I was really excited about this product, especially after reading all of the great reviews. I have used many different kinds of self-tanner and was pretty disappointed with the results of Dolce Glow. It seemed to take a bunch of product to get it on my skin evenly and didn’t seem to absorb very well either, despite letting it dry and then waiting overnight before showering. Most of it appeared to wash off. There is also definitely a yucky self-tanner scent that clung to my skin even after showering. I really wanted to love this one!

Plus, it develops quickly (perfect for busy days) and still leaves my skin feeling hydrated instead of dry. It’s easily become my go-to for a flawless, last-minute tan.

ve tried a lot of self-tanners, and the Dolce Glow 2-Hour Express Mousse really impressed me. The formula is lightweight and easy to apply, and I love that you can customize how deep the color gets depending on how long you leave it on. The ultra dark gives a really nice bronzed look without turning orange, which is always my biggest concern. It blends evenly and doesn’t leave streaks if you take your time applying. I also noticed it fades pretty naturally instead of getting patchy. The scent is much better than typical self-tanners, which is a huge plus. Overall, it’s a great option if you want a quick, buildable tan that actually looks natural and lasts.

My skin is fair with rosy undertones. I also run quite dry - despite my best efforts. I am very particular with tanning foam because I very frequently pull orange undertones, even when most other users don’t notice the same issue. Instant, rapid tanners usually scare me the most. This one, however is lovely! I am SO excited. I don’t feel dry at all after application (and I exfoliate well before using sunless tanners). Also, I don’t look orange and look warmly bronzed. I will say this isn’t an intense dark color which is honestly perfect for me. To get a really dark color, I applied, left on for two hours, rinsed, and repeat. This was perfect! Love this for Summer.

Only tan I have ever used that lasted 1.5 weeks at the beach with no patchiness!!! It’s a gorgeous color.

This is the streakiest tan I have ever tried. From years of self tanning, my hopes were high with this one based on the ratings. Drys way too fast you can’t even blend it in. Literally takes 30 seconds and it won’t move. It’s patchy it’s unevem, horrible formula

It is highly unlikely that even 80% of these reviews are from individuals who purchased this product with their own money, as it is the worst self-tanner I have ever used. I typically use St. Tropez Express (the blue bottle) and thoroughly enjoy it. After reviewing all the reviews on Dolce Glow, I decided to try this product this time. My honest thoughts: - Color: Orange - Stay Power: Only lasts until you rinse it off for the first time in the shower. Initially, it appears dark, but after rinsing, you only have 2% of the desired tan. After your next shower, you have no self-tanner left on your body. - Application: Blotchy and inconsistent - Wears off on clothes. Even after a body shower, it wore off on my white tank top. Truly, I cannot believe all the reviews on this page and would return this product if it were not past the 30-day return window. I am currently on vacation in Bali and am even more upset with the product as I self-tanned the day before I arrived. My white tank top, which I wore on the plane, is completely ruined. I went to the beach today and now have no self-tanner color left on my body. The hype surrounding this product is not worth it.
