Coco Hinoki Perfume with Amber & Woods

Personally this perfume wasn’t something I reached for over the weeks I’ve had it. I’m new to the perfume world and I got the opportunity to receive and review this product. If you like unisex musky scents then I 100% think this is for you! I read coconut and assumed it was going to be more of a softer summery day scent, but to me this is something you’d wear on a night out on vacation for a sexier smell. It lasts long, and it has a decent projection! I definitely don’t think this would be a great blind buy if you are new to perfumes/cologne’s like I am, but if you know what you like then I definitely think this is something you’d like!

This smells like coconut and amber-y. I wish I got more of the wood/smoky notes. The coconut overpowers everything. It’s long lasting. I’m not a coconut girl, but if you’re looking for something like it with an added warmth (not sweetness) this is it. Perfect for summer nights. Smells good just not for me.

Unique unisex but not a blind buy. Projects arms length and moderate longevity. Woody, cozy, with a touch of pear but not enough to call it a gourmand.

I’m a big Boy Smells fan. I love Coco Cream and Solar Drip. But the hinoki in this overpowers the coconut scent. It leans very smokey and woody and a little more on the masculine side.

I found the fragrance above average, it didn’t wow me. I like the hint of coconut, but won’t say its like a wow scent. For daily wear I would still pair with something a lil stronger.
