Daily Hydration Mineral Face Sunscreen SPF 50 + Squalane

I really wanted to like this Biossance sunscreen, but unfortunately it did not work for me. It leaves a noticeable white cast on my skin and also starts to flake and pill after application, especially when layered with other skincare products. Instead of giving a smooth finish, it makes my skin look dry and uneven. For the price, I expected a much better formula and wear experience

This product should not be purchased by people with darker skin it has a horrible whitecast.

I wanted to love this spf but ended up returning after trying for 4 days. I like the ingredients and the fact it's clean and mineral but it starts peeling on me after 2 hours. I usually wash my face with cleanser,then apply vitamin c serum, hyaluronic acid and moisturizer. After letting everything to absorb I apply sunscreen and it is okay for an hour or two and then starts peeling all over my face. I tried to skip vitamin c and the other time hyaluronic acid thinking it might be the cause but it continues to peel. Didn't try with makeup but I bet it would be a nightmare when everything peels off. Also it feels a little thick. Overall better formula than the old one but still a lot to improve. P.S bought another brand ( clean&mineral) and it works great with the same products.

My skin has gotten sensitive to chemical sunscreen as I’ve been adjusting to tret. I had a mini of this from the sun safety kit and decided to try and it’s really nice. I am very pale though. It would probably have a whitecast on darker skin.

This is hands down the best mineral sunscreen on the market. It's light weight, not greasy, not sticky, blends well, NO white cast, unscented, SPF 50, clean, and vegan. Product glides on your skin smooth and leaves no mess. I love that they added squalane as well, I've noticed creams that contain that are easier to apply. I've been looking all over the market for a mineral sunscreen that has pretty much all of these features. The only thing that would be nice about this is it being water resistant, but that's okay. I wear this under my makeup or on days that I wear no makeup. I'm so glad they came out with this. Definitely one of my holy grail products. 10/10 will buy again. Worth the $36.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Just in time for the warm weather! My one warning with this product is that it leaves a white cast for a second. It does fade away in a minute or so, but just letting everyone know! It is very lightweight and a little goes a long way. I had no issues with the packaging and dispensing it. It is just a squeeze tube which allows you to get as much as you’d like at a time. Definitely love how it feels and I’ve been putting it under makeup so no issues there. I would recommend this product for anyone needing a sunscreen!

Has a bit of a white cast and pills in certain areas :(

Moisturizing, doesn’t burn my eyes but it does leave a white cast. I’ll have to use it up, but won’t be buying again. I have dry skin so I was hoping this would work.

I liked the way it felt going on to my skin. Not thick or pasty white like some others. However after spending 1 hour in the sun, coming home and washing my face, it appeared red like I had not put anything on to prevent sun exposure.

This came in the Sun Favorites kit in the Sephora Favorites. While it is a mineral sunscreen, calling it a true mineral sunscreen is pretty misleading. The ingredients have butyloctyl salicylate, a chemical filter that acts as a sunscreen booster. What sticks is that this sunscreen uses titanium dioxide, making it even harder to blend out if you’re anything darker than a medium skin tone. (for reference, I’m in between Dior 1.5N and 2N) Even I had a hard time blending this out to my neck without looking like Casper. You can definitely find better pure zinc oxide sunscreens instead of this one.
