Major Fade Active Seal Dark Spot Vitamin C and Peptide Gel Moisturizer

This used to be the best skincare product ever. It was the first moisturizer ever that was hydrating , contained its own (effective!) actives and didn’t make me break out or react. After the formulation change, the smell is terrible, it’s too heavy and , doesn’t seem nearly as brightening and I’m right back to breaking out. Totally heartbreaking. I gave it until a second container but had to discontinue.

I used to always buy this one and loved it, the new formula feels to heavy for my oily skin :(

I got a smaller version of the original GEL moisturizer in the original starter kits and loved it. I went back to buy the full size unaware of the formula change. Even though it’s still labeled gel in the name, it’s actually a cream-gel. That’s misleading especially for combo and oily skins girlies because creams are typically too heavy and cause more oil throughout the day for us. I’m really upset. And this new formula has slight scent that I am not a fan of. Will regrettably be returning. It’s a shame because I REALLY loved the original formula smh

Be VERY careful with this product if your skin is sensitive to sun. I’ve applied it at night and got HEAVY sunburn the next day even though I applied 50 spf before going out (went on a 45 min walk so it’s not because I didn’t reapply sunscreen)

I was very excited to receive this product. I really like the packaging as well as the texture of this product. I have been using this daily at night time as part of my routine. I do feel that my skin looks more luminous and healthy.

This moisturizer has a lightweight gel-cream texture that feels incredibly refreshing on the skin. It absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or greasy, leaving my skin soft, hydrated, and nourished. I love how smooth and comfortable my skin feels after each use.

Consistency is the key with all creams for discoloration, It took me longer than usual before posting this review as I would like to use it nightly to see if there is lightening or change with the dark spots or marks that I have. I would say this helped but not a miracle worker just to set expectations as there is nothing that will do it in just a week. If you are set to using this as a daily routine then you will see wonders.
