Born Star Cream-to-Powder Long-Wear Eyeshadow

I swatched shade 'Serving' in store and loved it but didn't buy it right off due to some of the negative reviews. I decided it was worth trying it for myself and I'm so glad I did! The texture, sparkle and color are truly beautiful! I especially love that it doesn't leave sparkly residue all over my under-eye area like some other shadows do. So far I have not had any issues with creasing. Definitely a new favorite!

While the formula is BUTTERY soft, and the shades are GORGEOUS, it’s a bit irresponsible to call this “long-wearing”, as it certainly is not that. I assumed it would act like a TRUE smudge-proof and creaseless product, which are so common now, but it leaves a lot to be desired on that front.

Gorgeous, HOWEVER, the super fine micro glitter sticks to the skin after washing it off. I have washed my face 6 times since I last applied it and I still have bits of blue glitter particles in various areas of my face. Even the skin areas of my eyebrows. Returned it.

I’m assuming the other reviews are paid because although I love the packaging even with a primer and setting spray, this does not stay on

Stunning color and packaging, easily blendable, looks absolutely beautiful once on. Too bad that all the color is gone within a few hours for the price you pay, despite using a primer and a fixing spray...

This eyeshadow goes on so smoothly and blends amazingly. Curious to see how long it lasts or if it dries out but love the color enough I’ll definitely be repurchasing if it’s still available when I need another

This is an absolutely beautiful eyeshadow! The packaging is stunning. I’m not sure if others are opening it upside down or what but I had no issues with it falling out. Just slide the top over while holding up and you shouldn’t have an issue. It’s got an interesting texture, slightly creamy on first touch then turns to powder. It’s long lasting and the duochrome is stunning. I feel it’s more of a multichrome as I also see a green shift with movement. Highly recommend this shade- bronze/pink/green (to me)

I’ve completely fallen in love with this eyeshadow! The texture is amazing, it goes on super smooth like a cream but blends seamlessly like a powder. It has officially become my absolute daily essential. Some days I use it as a base, and other days I just sweep it all over for a quick, effortless look. Highly recommend if you want a reliable everyday shade!

I bought the shade Serving. It appears a little lighter in person than in the ads. Also it is one of those (light) reddish-brown based shadows with blue reflects, duochrome type and that isn't really apparent from the photos either. So the shade wasn't what I expected and then it also creased a lot worse than similar shades in my collection too. The formula may be too creamy. Creases quickly. The packaging is super cute and unique though.But not worth the money. Too bad because I really wanted to love it.
