Used the old spf 40 version forever, it was perfect. New formula is nowhere near as nice on the skin. I can feel it sit on top of my face all day, and the Fair shade is now slightly darker than before. I’m too pale. Can’t wear it anymore.
I loved the old formula, but this is awful. It’s like paste that never settles. The old formula would melt in and blend perfectly especially if I used my fingers, but this is like orangey finger paint. I tried mixing it with primers and lotions, anything to make it wearable, but the orange thickness would show through. It also made my pores MORE noticeable which I didn’t know was possible. After a couple days of trying to wear this, I developed a few red spots on my cheeks that peeled painfully and I couldn’t wear any makeup for days. Please bring back the bronze/gold bottle version and throw this stuff out!

i do love the healthy option of having a bb cream/foundation. it helps a lot with redness and my skin does not react to it. i also appreciate it being spf. my only negative about the product is that is leaves a glassy shiny finish so you have to use another product to make it matte or not as shiny. Ill be using it now for a long time and sticking with it.
I was excited see this color added - I was mixing the lighter and darker so this would be right in the middle but the color is so off and formula feels so different - packaging was changed as well

The good: It goes on smoothly, whether I used a sponge, a brush or my fingers. It has nice medium coverage, so it can be sheered out with moisturizer or built up in layers. There’s a very mild but pleasant scent. The bad: Hoo lord, it oxidizes. The shade was already almost too dark for my skin (21C-23C, Fenty 145). The oxidation made it look like an orange mask. This tinted moisturiser is absolutely amazing and provides fantastic coverage. The added SPF means I don't have to worry about applying a separate sunscreen, making it perfect for everyday use. Ok- I felt like I had tried all the tinted sunscreens out there. But wow. Wow. This one blows all the others out of the water. I have lots of freckles and some melasma since having my youngest child. Dr Jarts BB Cream with moisturizer and SPF has become my new favorite product. It’s light but with amazing coverage. It blends into my skin seamlessly, and since it’s moisturizing, my skin looks radiant when I put it on. I cannot recommend this product enough. I have used Dr Jart BB Beauty Balm for many years, I was very upset when they discontined the original formula, it had very good converage and I was sad because the second formula didn't have the same coverage but it was very blendable and I solved the coverage problem by finishing off with a powder. This new formula, in my opinion, may have a little more coverage than formula #2 but has a little bit of a greasy feel to it. I will continue to use it because I have not found a better product.
