This is, hands down, the best foundation I have tried to date. I'm 57 and have very dry skin (naturally and from retinoids, an uneven skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles and texture. This foundation looks fabulous 12 hours later. It's full coverage so you only need a bit.
I have "good skin", but when I have in person events and need to be in front of a camera I like to be a bit more polished. This gives me the look I'm Going for without that gross feeling of wearing foundation all day. If you are a natural makeup girlie this one is for you. I use shade 22 for all over, but u use shade 17 for highlight and undereye.
Buildable foundation that looks beautiful on the skin and lasts all day. I’ve been using my fingers to blend it out and it goes on smoothly and evenly.
This foundation makes my skin look so smooth. I have normal to dry skin, and with good skincare prep underneath, this foundation does not cling to smile lines or dry patches. Only need a small amount to get enough coverage.
The deeper shades go on according to undertone and then dry down to a deep green or gray. Very disappointed. I’ve tried 2 shades and the same thing happened.
I was very excited to try this foundation. The overall color is great and the coverage is nice. However, this feels really HEAVY on the skin. I didn’t use a lot either it was like a very small amount of product that I tried very hard to blend and sheer out with a sponge. It does look cakey on the skin especially around the nose. I wanted to love this but I can’t get past the heavy feel of this. So I will be returning.
I didn't find this luminous but rather drying that required Tatcha dewy moisturizer underneath. The shade range runs light, go up at least two shades.
I’m going to write this review because I feel like no one else has. I’m pretty sure this foundation is breaking me out, bad. With tiny little bumps all over. It’s very unfortunate because I love the finish and the coverage of this foundation, however I simply cannot deal with the new breakouts. I was on accutane for the past 6 months and having new breakouts again is very traumatic. I’m bummed because like I said, I wanted to love this so bad.
I loved the way this applied/wore and truly was hoping it would be a good replacement for the Estée Lauder OG Double Wear, but I didn’t notice it had Niacinamide in it before buying and it completely broke me out after using for a few days in a row:(
This is so hyped up on social media, so I had to try it and honestly, I'm disappointed. For reference, my holy grail foundation is the Dior Foundation Stick in shade 1.5N. I had a hard time finding the correct shade in this and even after finding something that works, I still don't think it's perfect like my Dior 1.5N. At first application, it looks stunning, skin-like, glowy yet natural, You only need a very TINY amount and it blends and covers the entire face quite well. Where I have issue is the longevity. My Dior foundation only gets better throughout the day as my natural oils start to poke through; this Hung Vanngo foundation, however, started to separate and just look sort of crusty by the end of the day. I gave it about 5-6 tries and each time, I was not pleased with it by the end of the day. To me, I want my foundation to melt into my skin and look better throughout the day, not sit on top and separate. With any product, it all depends on your body/skin, so this may and probably does and will work for others, but for me, it's a pass and I will be returning and sticking with my tried and true Dior.
