It feels really nice and smooth. I initially thought mine had been used because it came half full, but then I watched some videos of people opening theirs, and they all looked the same. So I guess that’s just how it’s packaged. It looks like your lips but better.

not impressed with this. your lips need to be exfoliate and very smooth for this. the applicator holds the product weirdly, thicker globs of it come off towards the edge of my lower lip when applying rather than the centre.

My order was just delivered and I rushed to try it immediately after I opened the box. (I ordered the color "Say It Anyway") This lip stain feels amazing! It has a velvety texture and the stain settles in quickly. I like how it is so subtle that the right color looks like your natural lip color, as if you were not wearing anything. In the photo I am wearing 3 layers. Which, for the record, is not necessary, I just kept adding because I wanted to see if the color would become bolder.

The color, the buttery feel, and the matte look are everything! Being a fan of the glossy, dewy look, I was a bit skeptical about this product, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it looked, smelled, and felt so nice on the lips! I can see this being all the rage this fall season. The only area for improvement for me is the hydration. My lips don't feel as hydrated as I would like.

I tried the Say It Anyway shade and I really like it. When I first put it on, it looked really dark, but it absorbed into my lips quickly and didn’t look as dark. My lips felt moisturized, but not overly so, and the product created a nice blurring effect on the fine lines for several hours. I wore it out and my friend asked about my “lip color” and if I’d used lipliner because it stayed on so well. Even drinking through a straw, the color didn’t leave a lip print. My lips felt smooth and moisturized and I didn’t feel hyper-aware I had on lip color like I do with different textures. The color worked nicely with my skin tone — I’ve been looking for a good berry but they’re usually lighter than I like and this was perfect.

I love a good lippie, and this is a great addition to my collection. This formula really is blurring. It’s a soft matte feel, but not drying and you can still rub your lips together. I have chronically dry lips so blurred matte formulas can be a disaster, but this is moisturizing and blurs the cracks and dryness of my lips. I tried shade On My Terms, and it’s a beautiful cool pink. The color has decent staying power. Yes, some of it will come off on your cup and probably wont last through eating, but that’s to be expected for a balm in my opinion. I love that Glow Recipe is giving us more pigmented lip options without sacrificing hydration and skincare benefits that they always provide. I’ll be looking at getting more colors!

Love the blurred look! New style for me as I normally only wear a gloss or oil on my lips. I am surprised by how hydrating it feels while looking almost matte! I was expecting it to feel dry & cracked like most matte products I’ve used. “Blur” is the perfect word to describe it- any lines or imperfections look gone after application. Got the shade On My Terms. I don’t normally wear make up like ever, but can see myself wearing this as the lighter shades look very natural. Gonna have to get my hands on the other shades!
