Swipe Serum Non-Acnegenic Foundation with Medium Buildable Coverage

Beautiful product but absolutely cannot get it to set for the life of me! I have tried three different types of setting spray, different powders… nothing seems to really work? Even hours after it’s applied it still rubs off if you touch it which is highly annoying because it really does look super lovely on the skin and applied under other products. If anyone has a trick, please share! Otherwise, wouldn’t recommend unless you’re sure nothing (or no one 😉) is going to touch your face

This is a dream come true for me. It makes me look like I’m glowing from within! Like a natural beautiful glow. I apply this on moisturized skin with my hands. I wouldn’t use a brush. It’s has light coverage, more like a tinted moisturizer. Has a gorgeous radiant finish that lasts all day. I don’t powder or set it because it’s so pretty. I’m 31 and it makes me look like I’m 18 again!

I really like this foundation! It's lightweight and buildable. I prefer applying it with a sponge because of the texture. I tested it while in Greece, and it really held up! My only wish is that there were a middle olive shade. The current ones are too light and too dark, so having one in the middle would be good. But the light oen would be a wonderful winter shade for me.

I love everything tower 28, but this is a no for me. It catches every dry patch on my face. It was very streaky.

I have very sensitive skin and I’ve been fighting some acne, but I feel like I can’t leave the house without a little bit of makeup to help me feel polished up. This has helped me feel confident on the daily without clogging all my pores and getting a bunch of acne. This js a light to medium coverage, and it is NOT a buildable foundation like it advertises. Which is why I am giving this 4 stars. However this is my new daily foundation!! I truly love this stuff!

Horrible coverage, like water, never heard of foundation that cost so much to be like water

This is nothing like the concealer, I LOVE the concealer. This “foundation” is terrible. It’s very sheer coverage and high shine. You can kinda build the coverage up to light coverage but I think this is more like a skin tint than a true foundation. It’s so so high shine, if you are very very very dry, this might work for you. Will be returning, this is terrible product for me & what I want out of a foundation.

I really think people need to learn how to use this foundation before judging it, because this foundation is SO good, especially when your skin barrier is angry, irritated, dry, or breaking out. I also think some people are expecting this to be a high-glam, heavy-coverage foundation, and that’s really not what it was created to be. Tower 28 describes it as a featherweight, medium-buildable serum foundation with a natural, second-skin finish that was made with sensitive and acne-prone skin in mind. It’s hydrating, non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic, and designed to help strengthen the skin barrier and keep irritated skin calm. It also contains Portulaca, which Tower 28 says has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that can help calm irritation and keep breakout-causing bacteria in check. That’s why I think you have to look at this foundation for what it actually is. It’s supposed to look like SKIN. It’s breathable, lightweight, soothing, and something you can reach for when your skin isn’t having its best day. This week my skin barrier was really irritated and this foundation honestly saved me. I still wanted to wear makeup, but I didn’t want something heavy sitting on top of already irritated skin. I do think application makes a huge difference though. Shake the bottle really well, prep your skin properly, let your skincare fully set before going in with foundation, and set everything LIGHTLY. I don’t think this is the type of foundation you want to overload with powder. I’m honestly so happy that a foundation like this exists because not everyone has perfect skin every day. We have acne, texture, dryness, irritation, and damaged skin barriers and sometimes we still want to put makeup on and feel good. I would buy this over and over again. This week alone showed me exactly why this foundation has a place in my collection, and I’m really excited to see how it performs in the winter when my skin gets even drier.

Love love love this foundation!! I got it because it’s non-comedogenic and I only use non-comedogenic makeup. I have very sensitive acne prone skin and this did not break me out/give me any bad reaction. I love how easy it is to blend and how hydrating it is. It does set itself so you can wear it glowy as is or set it with powder. It’s described as medium buildable coverage but in my opinion I’d say it’s light buildable. If you want medium/full coverage you’ll have to use a few layers. The pictures of me wearing it are with one layer and you can still see my skin peeking through (photos not edited). I use a cushion puff to blend it out. I have normal/combo skin and this works perfectly for me. My shade is 4C Crystal Cove

I really wanted to love this foundation, I swear by the concealer, but this is awful. Shade match is perfection, but it looks so greasy on the skin.. no amount of powder would set it; my husband said I looked like a twilight character.
