Soy Cleansing Jelly Balm

I wear a lot of eye makeup, and this took it all off in the shower. PLUS! No blurry vision like other cleansing oils. I have dry and sensitive skin. highly recommend

This cleanser was easy to work into my routine. The jelly texture quickly changes into a silky oil before emulsifying into a milky wash. This jelly balm solves the problem I have with oil cleansers. The main issue is that they’re messy! The oil is runny and tricky to control. By turning it into a gel, fresh has created an oil cleanser that’s easy to control. At first it feels like a gel cleanser, but I can tell that it melts into an oil because it emulsifies and turns milky with water, and then the water beads up on my skin. It removes makeup effectively, and I follow it up with a foam cleanser for a double cleanse.

I have normal/combo skin and wear makeup daily so a good double cleanse is important. I liked the silky texture of this balm as well as how easily it was able to melt away my mascara with very little effort. It cleansed away easily and left my skin feeling very soft and looking supple. It does sting a bit if it gets into your eye so be cautious of that.

This cleansing balm is amazing, I really love the way the texture changes between jelly/balm to a nice lather. It makes my skin feel as if it is genuinely getting clean. It doesn’t dry out my skin, it makes the skin feel moisturized while still getting the job done!

I love that it does not give the foggy eyes like a lot of balms. It’s gentle on the skin and seems to remove my eye make up decently with a lot of working product into my skin/lashes. However, I’m always dirtying face cloths/clothes afterward because it did not remove my face makeup very well, and I barely use product (normally contour/blush/eye bright and no foundation). Today I cleansed my makeup with the balm and went to do a toner pad to completely stain the pad with makeup that was still left on my face. I let the balm sit and work it in very well prior to rinsing. Not bad enough to return, but unlikely to repurchase.
