I still need to top it with a thick moisturizer to combat dryness. Using this way I don't have any peeling or redness. Very little scent, applies easily on dry skin.

It also seemed the container itself was only half filled. Great smooth texture, I experienced no stinging or uncomfortable feelings. It absorbs well, and shows some results.

So I’ve been using this for two months now and the fine lines around my eyes and mouth are almost gone. My skin look brighter and more hydrated as well. It helped with my bumpy skin texture as well as blotchy redness too. There’s not much of a scent which is nice since I’m sensitive to smells and I didn’t react to it like most other retinol type products so I will be purchasing again.

The yellowish peach serum is lightweight, absorbs effortlessly into the skin, and fragrance-free. The pump makes it easy to release the contents from the tube. It has a gentle approach to the skin. So far, I haven't noticed any irritation during usage. There isn't any residue left behind either. A small amount goes a long way. Prior to applying the cream, I make sure my face is cleansed well. Afterward, I'd distribute it all over my face and neck. In the beginning, I'd gradually work (twice a week and then went to wvery other night) it more into my regimen. Now, I put the serum on every night faithfully. I allow the cream to set a few minutes before applying a nourishing moisturizer to seal in hydration and to minimize dryness. During the mornings, I apply sunscreen to protect the skin while using retinoids. Consistency is key. My skin has a more youthful appearance. The fine lines and wrinkles are less noticeable. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome.

Doesn’t irritate my combination skin and seems to help soften fine lines and other imperfections. It has a nice lightweight feel and absorbs easily into clean skin. I am mainly giving it a lower score because the bottle feels almost empty, and the price is too high to justify this little quantity. My picture shows me using this after just the second day. You can tell how hollow the bottle is. There are better values for retinol out there, so I will not be reordering this one.

It goes from level 1 (for sensitive skin), 3 (for users new to retinol), 6 (for regular users), 10 (for advanced users), 20 (for experienced users), and 24 (for experts). I’ve tried the level 6 retinol for a few weeks (I only apply at night making sure I wear spf daily and stay away from the sun). My skin did get a little irritated ay first, but it’s my fault for starting at level 6.. I should’ve started at level 3. But I still gave this a 5 stars just because after a week of my skin reacting, I decreased how much I put on my face and that suited my skin way better… my skin really did start to look much better, especially my textures. I can’t wait to see more results!

I have been using the Medik8 Crystal Retinal since it came out a few years back. In my opinion, it's the best Retinal formula on the market. I had nothing but issues when I first started using Retinol products and destroyed my skin microbiome with DE's Retinol product, despite following all of the directions and not jumping into daily use. Once I got my skin back under control, I tried Crystal Retinal Level Three and I had absolutely no issues whatsoever.I saw improvements in my skin almost right away and have been faithful to the brand ever since (I use their eye cream as well). It's so nice to see that Sephora is finally carrying this brand! Hopefully they'll be carrying the stronger formulas very soon so I can purchase it from Sephora instead.
