I would like to start off by saying the application is very smooth and the color pops so well with a brown lip liner. I wore this lipstick for a night out and surprisingly it lasted all night while I went out for drinks with my girlfriend. I recommend this lipstick to anyone who wants a lip gloss like lipstick. I really like the shade Posh Pit. I love the signature scent of these lipsticks! It is a sheer, but buildable coverage lipstick. It gives "my lips but better" vibes with its pinky brown color.It pairs better with a darker brown lip pencil. I liked the lipstick. It's 540 - thanks it's Mac! Color and it's just so natural. It has more color than a lip balm but its not long lasting. I been wearing it natural and with lip liner. It smells like all your Mac products. And the lipstick itself last long. I've been wearing it everyday for the past couple of weeks with a lip liner underneath.
I have always been a huge fan of mac lipsticks, and lustreglass has to be my favorite formula. This lipstick is nice. It smells like cookies. It blends well. I just moisturize my lips first and this smoothly goes on. The 524 “Syrup” shade is a nice mauve. I received this Mac Lusterglass lipstick to try. I loved the color. It matched perfectly with my singing giving a natural lip finish. The lipstick felt smooth, almost creamy like. It applied easily without smears or becoming messy. My cons with this lipstick is that after wearing for awhile my lips would feel dry but after reapplication they were fine. Also, the lipstick is not long wear or transfer proof. If you plan to go out for drinks or dinner, carry it in your purse. You will need to reapply it as it will run off on the eating and drinking utensils. Overall I would recommend this product but with the recommendation of keeping it on you if you expect it to be apart of your look for the entire day. So I really wanted to like this lipstick because..it’s Mac. However this lipstick is probably my least favorite lipstick I’ve ever tried. The color is beautiful it’s about the same color as my natural lips so I was hoping it would be a little darker on the lips(which is how most lipsticks unless liquid usually go. So my issue isn’t with the color but the glitter in the lipstick itself. I think they’re way too big pieces of glitter as I can feel the glitter when rubbing my lips together and you can just see the light refraction on the glitter. It feels like a kids lipstick or something. I keep retrying it over and over with the same results. Definitely not my favorite.
