Vanille Magnétique Eau de Parfum with Vanilla and Cocoa

Alright yall I took one for the team and blind bought this fragrance after endlessly searching and finding zero available reviews on any social media or fragrance platform aside from the dozen or so incentivized reviews on here that were kind of all over the place. And let me be the first to tell you this is not a safe blind buy if you are looking for a vanilla perfume, now if you are looking for an excessively smoky perfume, you’ll be fine. to compare it to fragrances I’m sure most of us have tried; vanilla skin by phlur—they are not alike, they are not kin. Vanilla skin is much sweeter and smoother, way more vanillic, and balanced w/ fresh cut wood and pepper, compared to Vanille magnetique, which is basically wood on fire. a whole lot of incense, myrrh, burnt cedar wood, w a cold unsweetened vanilla in the background. The fragrance I would most compare this too is By the Fireplace by Margiela, it’s that same level of intense smokiness, though BTF is a bit sweeter than VM, but same vibe. In the deep dry down as the intense smoke starts to clear a bit it does get a bit warmer and I can detect the cocoa and Tonka more, though it stays quite smoky throughout the duration of wear.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have been really enjoying this perfume! It’s a really nice warm vanilla scent. It’s not a super sweet or desserty gourmand scent. It’s more like an elevated, softer and musky, which I really liked. It feels cozy but still kind of sexy and put together. It’s nice for date nights, going out or when you want to smell good without wearing something too strong. As a side note I have to say that the bottle has such a nice matte finish and it feels really good to touch and hold. It’s so sleek and well made. I love that it’s small enough to carry around in my purse.

I was expecting a warm/musky vanilla, but unfortunately to my nose this has a very artificial note, and the cocoa is really hard to detect. Otherwise cute bottles and it has good longevity- I would just make sure to not blind buy this.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. You can smell like vanilla all day with OBART! I got compliments when I wore this perfume and the packaging is very cute. Bottle can be carried easily anywhere. Projection of this perfume is AMAZINGG! Buy it if you want to smell delicious.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This Obart perfume in vanille magnetique smells amazing and lasts all day. The primary note is definitely vanilla and it is quite strong but not overpowering. Great vibe for the beach and vacation! Overall the perfume is good to use on its own or you can layer with other scents. Loving it so far!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This smells absolutely divineeeeeeee. This is a beautiful vanilla, very earthy and woodsy and complex. The scent has so much depth, when you take a whiff of it, every few seconds you’ll catch a hint of another note. You can very clearly feel the depth of the scent. Also, it is insanely long lasting. Once you spray it on, there is also a very thin oily feel on the skin and you can tell that there is a heavy oil concentration which makes sense why it’s so long lasting. I sprayed it on this morning and even after a beach workout, you can still smell it. This is definitely a new favorite and will be in the regular rotation.

It smells like it has some resinous/incense-y notes which adds some complexity to it that I like. It lasts all day. I would say the opening starts out more masculine and then it gets a little softer throughout the day. In terms of usability, I think it’s an easy reach for fall/winter and if you enjoy resinous vanillas, you’ll like this. As far as design, the packaging is beautiful in a chic glass bottle, but do note that it has a screw top; be sure it’s closed tightly or it’ll leak.

I like that you can mix with other perfumes as well. This is a perfume that can be used in any season. The packaging is very simple but nice and clean. This is a great perfume if you like sweet and soft scents.
