The Villainelle Eau de Parfum with Vanilla

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love thyou scent of this perfume. It is vanilla and smoky and cozy. It reminds me of being next to the fireplace with a mug of hot chocolate. The bottle is a twist up thought which did confuse me at first when I tried to pull the top off! Perhaps it could last a bit longer, but I get compliments when I walk by and my boyfriend was a big fan!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] First, l'd like to talk about its appearance, it is aesthetically pleasing. The glass bottle feels heavy and has a very artistic feel. When I read the description, I had a hard time imagining what it would smell like because I had never seen anything like it before, but I love it. It's not just another sweet vanilla scent, it's dark, and is wearable.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a very surprising fragrance. The first spray is decidedly vanilla, strait, beautiful, vanilla extract. Then immediately the vanilla takes a step back and the sharp juniper hops out at you. Almost as quickly, the 2 notes kind of meld together and dry down into a warm vanilla fragrance with an interesting note that I can’t quite identify. I really love it, I keep smelling my wrist trying to place that familiar yet unfamiliar scent. It’s definitely a winter fragrance for me. Much too warm and cozy for summer to my nose. I really like the twist top, though it did take me way too long to figure out how to open it. The bottle is beautiful and understated and I really enjoy the color. To me, this fragrance gives cozy, cuddle up with a cup of tea and read a book in the middle of winter vibes.

I think the bottle design and color is really cute and there is quite a bit so it’s going to last for a while! The one thing that I don’t like is that the sun is not very long lasting or super strong. I wish it lingered in the air a little longer, so that other people would complement it, you know? This could be a compatibility thing with my pheromones; however, I don’t notice it very much after I spray it very much. 

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Smells so good. It starts off like a cool scent then turns into vanilla mixed with oud/musk. It’s truly a unisex scent. The packaging is so luxurious and thick glass. Definitely will last for a while.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have mixed feelings on this one. Packaging: I love the packaging. It’s really unique and that you turn it in the top pops out. The bottle is beautiful and sleek. I love the aesthetic of. Scent: this is where it loses me a bit. I’m a girl who loves gourmand fragrances. I love a good vanilla sense. However, I just don’t get that from this. I definitely primarily sense the ice to juniper coming through, but I don’t get quite as much of the crystals and resin from the vanilla. I do get the smoke sent. So in reality, it really ends up being more of a spicy sent to me. I just don’t love it. It ends up feeling a little bit harsh. That said, I know scent is very personal. I never recommend blind buying a perfume. Projection and longevity: this does have really nice projection and longevity. I find it. The longevity is much better than many of my other designer perfumes. It’s medium projection where you can definitely smell it, but it’s also not super overpowering.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This perfume is so lovely! It’s soft and sophisticated. It’s mainly vanilla scented but it’s so layered and complex in the best way. This is vanilla but more. It’s got a smokey under note of amber and the woods in winter. It also has very cool packaging, you twist the lid and the nozzle comes up! The atomizer sprays a fine mist. This would be the perfect perfume for a special date night!
