L'Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum with Iris & Vanilla

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I can pick up on the beautiful floral scent of the Jasmine, with tones of vanilla and very slight sweet (not overly sweet) amber musk. It’s enough to elevate the girliness to a more mature evening scent. I can see it being a great scent for a date night. I found the scent to be a little on the strong side.. I did not need anymore than 1 spray. And for me, lasted alllll day! I swear I even slightly smelled it on my forearm where I sprayed, after showering. So maybe not best for those who can be sensitive to heavy powerful fragrances.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I got this perfume as a gift and though I thought it was too concentrated and overpowering when I first sprayed it on my bf, I thoroughly enjoyed it when I tried the spray in the air and walk through method. One spray is enough to last for days and it stays pleasant and fresh. My dad and bf also asked to borrow it, this is an amazing unisex fragrance.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] First of all, I really love the bottle of this perfume. It’s really elegant looking and looks really classy next to all the other perfumes on my perfume stand. The cap comes on and off easily and it is easy to apply. My first impression of the scent is that it’s sort of this soft amber floral fragrance. The perfume is described as having top and middle notes of orange blossom, iris, neroli, and jasmine, and base notes of amber, vanilla, and musk. The blend of the soft florals with the amber and vanilla base create a really lovely inviting fragrance that is perfect for the end of summer and going into the fall. It makes me feel warm and cozy, but the floral notes also gives it a bit of freshness. I can see this being a really great fragrance for many occasions. I used it for the office and on weekends, but it could also be versatile enough to use as an evening scent or for fancier occasions. The fragrance lasted a long time - after 6 to 8 hours I could still smell it on my skin. It lasts a long time but is also not too strong so it doesn’t overpower you and doesn’t bother those around you. Overall, this was a really enjoyable fragrance that I was able to try and I can’t wait to try more fragrances from the Guerlain fragrance house in the future.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really enjoyed trying L’Heure Bleue! It has a nice, pleasant scent that I think works really well for everyday wear. It lasted 5-6 hours on me, which I was happy with. It does smell very sweet which could be overpowering for some, but it didn’t bother me and I would definitely wear it again. I also have to mention the bottle because it’s so pretty!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I mean, the bottle is beautiful, the scent is strong and lasts a long time. I'm just not a huge fan of the scent. I was really hoping for more of the Vanilla and Amber, and I really didn't pick up on those smells at all. I did smell the pear, the powder and the Iris. Very floral forward and reminded me of my grandma's house, except at my grandma's house, it smelled of each of these faintly, not so strongly. Overall just not a scent for me.

This is a disappointingly bad fragrance. There's a weird overpowering note like the smell of overcooked hard boiled eggs or low tide. The iris and vanilla are barely there are all, they are as weak as you'd expect to smell in a body spray. The fact that Guerlain took the name of a classic fragrance and gave it to this new release is shocking and disappointing.

I really wanted to love this, as the perfume bottle is beautiful. However, it smells like laundry detergent. Which could be nice if you want to smell fresh and clean. But it’s just not for me

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The packaging is cute and minimal. The scent is extremely long lasting and a little goes a long way. It is a unique fragrance that is light and great for summer. I was impressed with how long the scent lasted. I could still smell it the next day. It does not have an overpowering smell and one that you can layer with other fragrances. I like that it is refillable as well.

The product arrived securely packaged and comes in a generously sized bottle that should provide plenty of uses. However, I am not a fan of the scent. It reminds me of a more dated mature fragrance that is not quite my preference.
