the scent isn’t strong at all, but it’s still there. The size is really big most essences are super small, so you get a lot for the price. I use it for double moisturizing and it works well. I have sensitive skin and it hasn’t broken me out. (:

Wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. Definitely gonna repurchase. Used it more for my body than my face, hence why I finished it in less than a month but wow. Texture is nice, scent is not offensive and doesn't linger, and left my skin supple and moisturized! Quality product at this price. Wish it came in a bigger size but again it's for my body, so..

I use this on my body with the Kikumasamune Skin Care Lotion when I get out of the shower. I like that it absorbs into my skin quickly. I feel that my skin isn't as moisturized as it would be with an actual lotion, but this is a lot more convenient. The scent is nice.

This is super! Extremely hydrating and very nice to use. I absolutely adore this. It's super affordable and comes in a great pack and value. Please keep in mind that this is an emulsion - it is like a light lotion, which becomes very watery upon application and sinks into the skin, so it is somewhere between a watery toner to a cream! Okay, so this is not your normal skin lotion as this one is made from Sake and the scent is very strong. You will almost smell like you had a drink, but the good news is, it is perfect for skin brightening. Also, you are paying for a good size bottle. 500ml that will last for about 6 months maximum. I am trying to use this thrice a day as I am still using other skin-brightening products, so I will rewrite my review once I achieved it. But so far, you can't go wrong with Japanese-made products. Also the pink bottle is so cute, I think the bottle itself is reusable once you finished it (recycling).

I know it's marketed as Sake product but then I saw the artificial additives for scent. Why add thai weird scent just for the sake of a gimmick? Also it feels too runny and not very effective in my opinion.

I heard about this Japanese sake skin care and wanted to try. It is a large size and lovely packaging. It is a light moisturiser and very light sake scent which some might not like. I was ok with it. Not sure I’d get again as I didn’t find it moisturising.

I added the Kikumasamune emulsion to my routine when I wasn't sure what to add for that step. It has the same soft sake scent as the toner and a lovely, gel-like texture. I found it great for my sensitive skin and pretty moisturizing, but I've moved onto more complex formulations for my emulsion step now :)

it is thicker than lotion, much thicker, and I use it combined and my skin is moisturized all the time. all in all very happy whit my purchase
