Took a chance on this when fostering a little weirdo (I say this with big love, and yes, he did get snatched up into a forever home) - he was not into it. Often wondered if mint & beef flavored treats tasted nasty to dogs just as it sounds blech to me. Weirdo's successors would pretend to eat them, but I'd find these tiny bone-shaped nasties gooped into fuzzy dog beds and carpets. Unless you know that your pup likes minty beef, I'd avoid this. Sorry, Arm & Hammer.

Bought his for my 6 y.o. dog, shw did not have any stinky breath in particular, but I wanted to try. Clean and fresh breath appears shortly, it works. Important that this product won't substitute teeth brushing.

I was skeptical about this at first. As my doggo can be kinda picky with her treats. But oh boy when I was surprised to see that she just absolutely loves these!! I was so happy because not only does she like them....but they actually work! Her teeth look a lot better even after juat a couple weeks of using these treats. They are soft enough for sensitive teeth & must taste good as she always wants more. I recommend getting a couple containers because they start to go fast even when just giving 1 to 3 of the tiny dental bones a day.

yes, the smell is a little… unique. It's a weird, somewhat medicinal minty aroma that I didn't expect. However, that is literally my only complaint, and it's completely overshadowed by how much my dog LOVES these things. He thinks they are the highest-value treat imaginable. He comes running when he hears the container open and will happily perform any trick for one. They have made giving him his daily dental supplement an absolute breeze—it's a treat, not a chore. Most importantly, they work. I've noticed a significant improvement in his breath. It's not perfumed or masked; it's genuinely fresher. I can also feel that his teeth are smoother, with less plaque buildup than before. So, while the smell is a bit odd to my human nose, it's clearly a non-issue for the target customer: my dog. For effectively promoting his dental health in a way he eagerly accepts, these mints earn a solid five stars from me. A must-try for any pup!

The dog likes these, which surprised me since they're minty. His teeth may be a little cleaner but I'm not sure if it makes that much of a difference. I do not give them every day though so I actually am going to try to start doing that to see if it helps.
