The scent and smell is a pungent and tart lemongrass citronella. I was curious whether this would work in a mosquito infested country like Thailand. Taking a walk one half-day in nature, I didn’t get bitten once. Yay! It looks like a hair tie but works well! The size is very small so I was skeptical whether it would protect my legs and feet. But it did. Although other bugs like ants and flies aren’t as affected by this invisible shield. I like this innovation though. Thanks!

my son and I have used these a few times. I was out at the lake and a bug kept biting my ankle incessantly, so I put a bug bracelet on my ankle and I didnt get bit again. I need more time to see how well it works with my son because he is a literal bug magnet and has severe reactions to bites. he hasn't worn them enough for me to know if they work for him as well.

Easy and quick to use and lasts a few days. Funny thing is people thought it was used to tie hair lol. It wad very effective and the smell wasn't annoying.

These bracelets were a total bust—supposedly the essential oil blend like citronella repels mosquitoes by masking scents, but I got bitten nonstop on walks, even with them on. The 10-pack is cheap compared to OFF sprays, and they’re easy to carry, but that’s it. The scent fades in an hour, and they’re useless against bugs. Waste of money for outdoor protection.
