Organic Tamanu Oil, 2 fl oz (60 ml)

I have known about Tamanu oil for years and have used it on and off for years. I recently found Cliganic brand and their 2oz size is a good value. This oil is great for dry and worn skin as well as for scars as well as age related issues. The quality is as good as any I’ve used. The scent is an earthy one not too strong though. Your skin will look year younger after just 1 application.

I love tamanu oil. I have found that it soothes irritated skin, speeds up the healing of bruises (forget arnica!) and sunburns and other burns. Do not apply to broken skin (anything more than a scratch will sting) and do not get in your eyes! Now, most skin and tissue issues I have I think about trying tamanu oil first.

I had never heard of Tamanu oil before but wow. It really it is fantastic for aging and sun damaged skin. It is quite a thick viscous oil with and it's own scent is very earthy which I don't mind as it's a natural scent. This oil is very nourishing and moisturising as well as gentle for sensitive skins. I prefer to combine it with a bit of rosehip oil or babassu oil at night time after cleansing and gently pat or massage onto my face and neck. I have also used this on my chronic spontaneous urticarial & vasculitis affected arms and legs as it seems to soothe the affected skin.

Great product for the price. We have to wait to test efficacy however, so far so good.

Tamanu oil is great for skincare, and organic is best. The dropper-style dispenser is great -- I've had pump bottles of tamanu oil, and it is much harder to control how much you dispence, and the dark bluish-green oil spatters from a pump sometimes.

I have found tamanu oil in iherb a few months ago and since then it is one of my trusted oils for scalp rehabilitation. Just a few drops mixed with a proper scalp oil ( eg. Jojoba) does wonders. Smells herby and I don’t mind that at all.
