15% Bakuchiol Serum, 1 fl oz (30 ml)

Bakuchiol is a gently exfoliant for my skin (though it does tingle a bit when I put it on), and Admire My Skin's version actually containsva higher percentage of bakuchiol than many far more expensive formulations. I notice obvious exfoliation when I use it, though I don't use it as frequently as I ought to. I believe it's high quality at an amazing price, and doesn't have a cloying scent.

I order from iHerb alot. So this is a template I use for all my product reviews that are either a 4 star or a 5 star. This means that the product is more than excellent and as described. It also means I greatly enjoy using it for the exact purposes mentioned and that I have most likely reordered it more than once already or I plan on doing so when I run out. I tried to use this in the daytime, but probably without enough frequency. This Bakuchiol serum was supposed to be a gentle alternative to retinol that has the benefit of not causing skin to be sun sensitive, but I just didn't see much benefit. My skin just looked as though wearing it in the daytime was making it rough. I have a night time retinol and I decided one retinol use was enough. I've stopped using this one.

I got this serum for my mum who wanted something a lot leas harsh than retinol, she really likes it and has been using it consistently for a while now. I’ve got a few things from this brand and they always seem to be great quality and a great price point for the size of products.

Switched from retinol and decided to try this form out because retinol irritates and breaks me out in areas of PIE. True, this is very gentle, and it doesn't cause any irritation, doesn't dry out my skin, but it's not working as well on general wrinkle and pore care, or for dark spots and melasma. Maybe it just works slower, or maybe it's true that there is no actual science behind effectiveness of bakuchiol in general. Texture is pleasant and hydrating, so my dry skin loves this otherwise. Viscous texture. Fairly strong scent that smells like honey–lemon. Good quality ingredients and a solid choice for moisturizing.

I’ve only used this Bakuchiol serum for two days, but I already noticed a significant improvement in my skin. The texture is very thick, and it’s a bit difficult to get the product out of the bottle, which makes it slightly inconvenient to use. However, despite the consistency and packaging issue, the results were surprisingly fast — my skin looked smoother and overall healthier in such a short time. So even though it’s not the easiest to apply, the results make it very promising.

Only new to using this product, no issues but time will tell if it can do similar to retinol - which I am wary to take due to sensitive skin.

Strong and effective serum that noticeably brightens the skin and evens out tone. I saw improvement in dullness and texture after a couple of weeks. It’s potent, so a little goes a long way — best used at night with moisturizer.
