I really like this brand which gives me an easy and affordable way to encorporate indian spices in my vegan whole food diet.Since I follow an SOS free protocol I make many spice compositions to try and make up for the salt I miss...this spice is fresh and has great taste and quality, I heat it lightly on a warm skillet then crush with a mortar and peste to get the most fragrance and use it as one ingredient in my harrisa composition. highly recommend!

great packaging and price. bought this along with coriander and fennel seeds so i can make Ayurvedic digestive tea first thing in the morning. here is the recipe: to two cups of water add a teaspoon of each cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds, bring to a boil then turn down the heat to a simmer, cook another 5min, turn off the heat and pour through a strainer into your cup. you can have this as is, hot or cold depending on the season and your need. enjoy!
