My holy grail for moisturizing my skin. My skin is always dry and having eczema flare ups. Tried so many moisturizing lotions and didn’t listen to my doctor. But when i saw her recommendation I bought it and used it first then a barrier balm on top of it and my eczema got better. Very effective!
I have extremely sensitive skin and this scent-free product truly helps for daily use, with amazing quality. The size and package is perfect too. Its composition truly helps moisturizing my skin despite my age. What a value for money, its benefit is effective to make my skin feel young.
I love Cetaphil as a company and have used a lot of their basic creams and really like them. They are usually great value for a great product. I had to go to a dermatologist once and asked what she recommended for just basic but great skin care and she suggested Cetaphil as one brand that does the job well without being outrageously priced. This lotion is light and the scent-free smells like fragrance free lotions, if you know what I mean (they all have that same smell), which is better than it smelling strongly perfumy. But I got this for my dog who has eczema. When I put it on his skin, even when it wasn't broken skin (I've found that lotions, as a general rule, tend to sting on sensitive skin), it still seemed to sting and he didn't like it. It's a light lotion, not thick or greasy. It seemed to rub into his skin (and my hands) easily, but again, because his eczema is maybe too advanced for this exact product, it was definitely the wrong one for him. But I would guess if you could use it on skin that was under control, I think that's more of what it's for. So, eczema more in control than my dog's is. The bottle is not very big, but it seems like it would last. Although, maybe because it didn't work for us, I think it was a bit expensive. I am sure if he liked it and it helped him, I wouldn't care and would find it to be a great value.
As someone with eczema, this is a go-to. It calms irritated skin quickly and the fragrance-free formula means no flare-ups. Noticeably soothing after just a few applications. The 10 oz bottle lasts a while too. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with sensitive or eczema-prone skin. No scent was also as expected which is good.
If you have dry and eczema prone skin then it was for you. Especially on dry season. It relieves dryness especially on winter season. It has little thick consistency. It helps to soothes my flare up.
