I tried the (supposed to be) stronger pills from Nature Ways, and had no effect. From Swanson however, hair is slowly starting to come back and the grey hairs are decreasing. Take two if you want a bigger effect, but know that your body hairs also grows. Easy to swallow, no harm

I have been taking Fo Ti root on and off for about 7 years. I still only have maybe 3 or 4 strands of Gray hair and some have lost colour in my eyebrows but compared to many people I know that are my age who have hair covered in grays I'm doing very well. I can't say that it's the herb for sure but its worth trying I think, there's some research to say it helps.

Studies suggest that a compound found in fo-ti, called rhein, may suppress certain types of cancer, such as breast, cervical, colon, lung, and ovarian cancer. I am using this as part of my cancer recovery and so far all is well. No cancer, no side effects, no chemo.

This product was marketed as Immune Support and Overall Well-being, but we were using it for hair support. One capsule was already helpful in hair loss and darkness. The effect was more if taking 2 capsules, but might feel stressed after consumption for a period of time. Therefore I prefer to buy the extract version now --- helpful without stress.

To be honest, I am trying Fo-Ti for gray hair reversal and after finishing a bottle I didnt notice much difference BUT is that even realistic? If it works it can only affect new hair so it will take a long time to notice anything, probaly at least a year. The hairs that are in resting phase are most likely not affected. For a supplement like this patience is crucial.

Tried other brands, but this one appears to be better than the others. Originally I took it in hopes that it will help to prevent premature grey. It never did that, but it helped to reduce the amount of hair that I was brushing out. Also, my hair just feels healthier and stronger, and maybe I'm seeing some dark new growth, but it certainly does not turn the hair that's already white back to my natural brown color. Great product and great price.
