I tried other brands and will keep coming back to this very potent product. You need to take the extract and not the full spectrum. The extract is only the good part of the plant which is concentrated. The Full spectrum is all parts of the plants and is way less concentrated, i.e. useless.

use St. John's Wort regularly, when I need it. I refuse to use pharmaceuticals, if I can help it. Everyone I know who uses meds for mood enhancement never gets off of them. With the St. John's, I can ween off when I'm feeling better and do just fine. Then, when I feel I need it again, I order more. I do know that you can overdo St. John's Wort, so be careful not to megadose. Choose the right dose for you. I, personally, only take one capsule per day and that's enough for me. You'll have to find what works best for you. Swanson is always quality, so its great.

I did like these capsules and I have no complaints about the product. I will say though that these are not kosher. I “assumed” the gelatin was fish but it can be either beef or pork. It’s not specified so just letting y’a know. If it doesn’t matter to you, the kosher part, then go ahead and give them a try. Be sure to spread out the capsules: one in the morning, one in the evening etc.
