BioPerine®, 10 mg, 60 Vegan Capsules

This is a companion to Swanson, Full Spectrum®, Turmeric, Boswellia & Tart Cherry, 60 Capsules formula. Taken together insures assimilation of Tumeric. If you are taking another formula you prefer that doesn't have this, you should definitely purchase it and take it together. It will probably make your turmeric formula more effective. The price is great. The capsules easy to swallow and I have difficulty with taking large pills. So far Swanson's products have not disappointed. They have been reliable and it appears that the quality is good. Bioprene is an essential ingredient for products with turmeric.

It contains the active ingredient from black pepper, and the benefits are neuroprotection, regulating neurotransmitters, and increases the absorption of curcumin. It tastes slightly hot, if you dont like the taste just swallow the capsules quickly

Since bioperine has been shown to increase the uptake of the nutritional ingredients in most supplements, it seems like a no-brainer that we would want to take it to get maximize the benefits of what we are taking. Some of my supplements already contain bioperine, but when I'm taking those that don't, I will add this one to the stack, for the reasons I just mentioned.

I bought these to add to my turmeric supplement since I bought one without the bio pairing already in it it doesn't taste like anything and it doesn't upset my stomach and the pills pretty small

This is a great thing to add to your supplement stack if you want to enhance the bioavailability of other supplements and make sure they are better absorbed (i.e. Curcumin). Its cheap and at 10mg (providing 9.5mg of Piperine) is more than enough for the job.
